The lovely Jess has posted side-by-side swatches of Revlon Fashion's Night Pout next to Revlon Soft Nude and MAC Gaga 2 on her blog. I think it's very interesting to see them all side-by-side, and so helpful too!
Do you think you need Fashion's Night Pout after seeing this? Or are you happy with Soft Nude (which is a core collection shade)? I'd love to know what you think!
I saw the display at my HEB grocery, but there were no lipsticks left! I picked up the last two nail polishes though. I was lucky enough that HEB had &2 coupons for any Revlon cosmetics. The nail polishes retail there for only $3.78 so after the coupons they were only $1.78!
ReplyDeleteI'm attracted to these colors but a little afraid to try them; I'm extremely fair and I'm afraid a nude lipstick would completely wash me out. The polish, though? I'm on the hunt for that, definitely.
ReplyDeleteI just read Jess's blog about Fashion's Night Pout, now I am kinda sorry I didn't pick it up with Black With Envy...I took to heart the comparison with Soft Nude which I have and now I see it is a little pinkier. Which is why I tend to pass up Soft Nude in my make up bag. Gonna hope for the best and head back to Kmart today and see if there are still some left since I have a coupon. Wish me luck! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this post and shout out! I appreciate it a TON! If anyone has any questions at all about the lipstick or nailpolish please feel free to ask me ANYTIME! thanks everyone!! and I totally think if you own soft nude you still need fashion night pout, they are not the same at all!! lol
ReplyDeleteYou guys are totally killing me! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to be strong and not get these because nail polish drying time kills me and I have so many nude lipsticks but its getting so hard to resist since everyone keeps talking about them!
Ahhh maybe I will have to decide when and if I see them in stores.

I found it yesterday at Ulta. It's an even smaller display in person. lol :) I bought it and it's really too similar to Soft Nude to set the two apart in comparison. Soft Nude is like one degree more peach. The polish doesn't have any of the green that Black Pearl has in it. So I left it for someone else.
ReplyDeleteI have no nude lipsticks but when I saw universal shade, I had been looking for the last few months. I just happened to glance this display at Walgreen's while walking toi the register. They had all the polish spots full, but only one little lipstick!! Usually I only buy drugstores when there's a good sale or I have a coupon, but I had to have this!! It looks good on, and I am a pretty fair girl! I love it!
