I went to a Dollar Tree a few towns away yesterday and I hit the jackpot! I finally, after all these months, found some of the e.l.f. Studio stuff that many of you have reported you've found at your local Dollar Trees (which I'll show you in another post) and some cool old Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear polishes too.
But today I want to show you these old limited edition Maybelline Salon Expert polishes. This collection is so old, I'm thinking it has to be from maybe ten years ago. I don't remember ever seeing it in stores, but obviously it was some kind of rock & roll theme. Here are the shades I spotted:
Copper Concert
Rock Out
Gold Guitar
Vinyl Shine
Berry Famous
Rock n Black
And I also spotted some super old Maybelline Revitalizing Color polishes. Wow, this is really a blast from the past! I haven't seen these bottles in ages:
I purchased Gold Guitar, as well as a few of the older Sally Hansen polishes, which I will swatch in the days to come.
Have you spotted any of these old polishes at your local Dollar Trees lately? If any of you remember the name of that limited edition collection, I would LOVE to know. I'm thinking it had to have the words "rock & roll" or "rockstar" in the title, right?
whoa! blast from the past! i should have stopped at the dollar store today.. i past it on my way home, but decided against it!
ReplyDeleteI used Maybelline Revitalizing Color Polish in high school. It was really good for my nails. It kept them long and strong. I was sad the line was axed.
ReplyDeleteWhat shade is it?
Ooh I have some of these! I think they came out maybe 4 or 5 years ago?? The others I have are Acoustic Azure, Punked Plum, & Amped Aubergine. Fab finds!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous, I can NEVER find any of these awesome finds at my local Dollar Trees. :( Its always the same old stuff they always have.
ReplyDeleteYep, my dollar tree also had the shades Melissa mentioned. Punked Plum is gorgeous!
