Sometimes ya just gotta wear pink. Ya know what I'm sayin'?
Every once in a blue moon, I grow tired of my greiges and forest greens and pale-as-a-ghost lilacs and I just need to feel dainty, classic and girlie. It's during those times that I look for a pink that's not too bright, not too bold, yet not too dated. When I received Milani La Vie en Rose a while back for review, I admit it was the last of the bunch to be swatched. But now that I've worn it, I'm regretting that it wasn't the first in the bunch to grace my digits. It's a lovely, lovely mid-range pink creme that I think would look gorgeous on just about any skintone.
If you only own a handful of pinks, I think this might be one to consider adding to your collection. Two coats for good opacity (although I probably could have used one more) and, as is the tendency for cremes, it has a lovely and very easy consistency.

I love La Vie in Rose. I think I've used half of my bottle of it. It's a great "go to" pink creme. It goes with anything! My all time favorite pink polish is tie between China Glaze Strawberry Fields & OPI Pink Me I'm Good. I love shimmery and sparkly pinks!

ReplyDeleteThat's gorgeous! I don't think I own any bright pinks. I have some light pinks I'm more comfortable in, but sometimes bright nails make me feel awkward.
