Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales!

The lovely Make-Up on the Cheap is a bit slammed this week, so I'm taking over the reins (just for this week) and listing next week's drugstore makeup sales (which begin TOMORROW! Yay!).

Every once in a blue moon, when the planets are aligned just right, all of the big three drugstores have some killer deals all within the same week. THIS, my friends, is one of those weeks! Hold on to your wallets because here we go!

(Note: this is my first time doing a complete drugstore roundup so please bare with me--I added some non-makeup deals to these lists if I though they were REALLY good and worth mentioning--hope you don't mind!)

All of the REALLY good deals are in bold:

All Dial and Coast bath bars, Dial hand soap, Tone bath bars, Pure & Natural bath bars, liquid soap and body wash: BOGOFREE with $1 +UP Rewards

So, I guess I should have waited before I went and bought that Limited Edition Borghese polish, eh? No worries though--this just means I can buy another (make that two) this week at Rite Aid! And remember, if you have this month's All You magazine, and you haven't used the THREE NYC coupons yet, now is the week do it at Rite Aid!

What are you eyeing this week? Anything in particular?

  2. Great sales! Now only if I had a CVS, Rite Aid and Walgreens! ;)

  3. ...FML, I just went on a low-buy last week. x.x I'm glad I had enough foresight to not make it a no-buy, LOLOLOL.

On the other hand, this is going to take some serious finagling...

  4. @ Lacey *shutters!* Poor thing! You must live out in the middle of New Mexico or Montana. :(

Gonna look through my coupons and do some more drugstore shoppin'!!!

  6. It is a great week :)

But the Covergirl BOGO only applies to Face and Lip Products :( I've been wanting to try their mascaras and eyeshadows but this is not the week to buy them :/

  7. AngelicBetrayal, maybe the CVS or Walgreens Covergirl deals? It's not a BOGOFREE, but still not a bad sale at either place.

I was waiting for a Milani sale, but not anymore, now that I know that Jordana is made by them and so much cheaper, I think I'll head over to Walgreens and check that out instead.

  8. ATTENTION EVERYONE! Of course I had to make ONE mistake in my first roundup and I guess it was a biggie: the CG sale at Rite Aid is just for face and lip products. Sorry for the confusion and I've fixed the original post to reflect. :)

Silly Lilacs: Hahaha! It's about time, right? ;)

Lacey: Awww, I wish the sales in Canada were like this too. :(

clementine: LOL! But with these sales and coupons and possibly stacking coupons, it will almost be like you're getting things for free, right? Haha. ;)

Kimberly: lol! Lacey lives in Canada. :) And yeah, it's time for a shopping trip, right? I'm trying to find a $2 Revlon coupon that will make that lipstick at CVS free! :)

seton: I'm sorry to hear that. I'm not sure if it has to do with living in a big city though (I live in San Diego, which is pretty big) and I know these sales are going on in LA as well. But I have heard that if your drugstores are in areas with high tourist traffic, sometimes they don't run certain sales. So maybe that's the case with you? If that's it, then maybe you can try going to a Wags or RA that aren't in a touristy part of town? Hope that helps! :)

AngelicBetrayal: Thanks for catching that! I got emails and tweets about it too--you gals are so on the ball! :D I just fixed it in the post. Sorry you can't get the products you've been wanting to try. :(

Donna: Oh but they're both great (Milani and Jordana) in their own special ways! You'd be missing out if you limited yourself to just Jordana. See what a bad influence I am? But you seriously should try stuff out from both if you can get Milani at a good price, of course. :)

  9. Oh and the things I'm thinking of buying, my Rite Aid still has a bunch of the SH Ultra HD polishes. I want them but think they are overpriced, but not when they are BOGOFREE! So I'll get those and probably a couple of the regular HD line too.

I'd like to get Borghese Stellare Notte(sp?), and probably pick the other color out of the new display since my Rite Aid just got it in. I don't like mattes, but that blue looks beautiful. So either that one or the red one.

I also saw the new NYC display is in and I want that rose gloss and nail polish you reviewed for us, G! I'm also thinking I might get 1 or 2 of the cream blush sticks. I'll see if anything else interests me.

I'll also be getting some Revlon lipstick and gloss at CVS!

And while I'm there I'll be looking over the Milani stuff because G MADE ME!!!!!!

  10. WOW! FINALLY a BOGO for free stuff! Thanks so much for sharing!

  11. Amazing! Can't wait to get some new stuff! Woot!

Love your blog :) Added you on FB as well!

  12. What Rite Aid flyer did you see that said that NYC and Sally Hansen were BOGO Free this week? I just came from Rite Aid here in Memphis and not only does the flyer NOT say that neither NYC or Sally Hansen products are NOT on sale, the store manager confirmed it for me.

I got so excited to buy a bunch of Sally Hansen polishes and I ended up leaving with only Mystic Lilac from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear collection.

  13. Donna: Sounds like you've got it all mapped out! :) And about Milani...yeah, well it had to be done! ;)

1xellus1: I know, right? It feels like Christmas! Haha! :)

Sherry: Thank you SO much for the FB add! Please forgive me while I learn my way around over there--it might take me a bit to figure it all out. :)

Nikita: You probably live in a city that doesn't run the "National Ad". I don't know what to tell you, other than that this is the sale that the majority of the US is getting this week. Take a look at page 5 of the NATIONAL AD here to see the BOGOFREE Sally Hansen and Borghese deal:

    http://www.iheartriteaid.com/2010/08/0919-0925-weekly-deals.html

    Hope that helps! :D

  14. PS: Nikita, the NYC sale is right next to the Sally Hansen sale on page 5 of the national add (link in my last comment).

  15. Wow. Since Memphis is one of those cities that borders other states, I thought maybe Nikita could take a drive to get the deal elsewhere. But it looks like they don't even have any Rite Aids in Arkansas, so that's out. And it looks like Mississippi is running the same ad as Tennessee.

Sorry Nikita, but it looks like Rite Aid runs different sales in your area, actually it looks like they run shorter ads with less deals and that really sucks. I want to know why they do that.

  16. Damnit! I hate that Rite Aid has been having amazing sales lately and I'm not anywhere near one! My trip isn't until later this month when all these sales will be over. Watch that be the week when they don't have anything. >:|

  17. That is so weird that the Rite Aids here do not have the same sales as everywhere else! I don't get that! I'm going to write corporate and ask why.

Yeah, there aren't a lot of Rite Aids around the Tri-State area. We JUST got CVS here in Memphis earlier this year (fortunately for me, one is 10 minutes from my house) so I can now partake in the CVS sales.

  18. ACK! I just noticed the L'Oreal quads I bought didn't ring up BoGo 50%...wonder if it was because it's the "color of hope" fundraiser ones?

I picked up the NYC eye color quad for Blue eyes (Bryant Park) and the LE Lip Plumper in Mulberry. I also got some Neutrogena Moisturizer.

At Walgreen's, I got a Maybelline quad, using some of the $1 off coupons from the FW display. But it's weird, I tried to buy three quads, and use three coupons, but only one coupon would go through. Same thing happened to me a few days back when I was trying to buy nail polish. They overrode the coupon that time, but today they told me, "that's just the way the system works" grrrrr....I HATE that excuse. What did the world do before there even WAS a "system"???

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hahahaha, we'll see! I'm trying to list out what I want and what I have coupons for... My limit is $3 tops per item and no more than 2 at a time, so I will report to you on how this goes... XD XD XD

  20. Last weekend, our paper had a ton of Maybelline and Revlon coupons, too! And making the deal even sweeter, yesterday my friend brought over her extra coupons -- including more of those and some L'Oreal! Makeup, here I come.
