HOT TIP: Several New Amazon Prime Beauty Deals

Thanks so much to my pal and longtime reader @lippiesandlotion on Instagram for this hot tip!

There are SEVERAL great opportunities to save money on beauty purchases at Amazon right now if you are a Prime member (get a 30-day free trial HERE), all leading up to Prime Day on July 12 (I'll post a reminder about that later this week). If you are not already a Prime member, you may want to take advantage of that free trial so that you can score these deals, plus the deals on Prime Day.

All of the below deals are active now for Prime members only, which means you also receive free shipping on these deals:

  • Right now when you spend $50 on Luxury Beauty (items in the Luxury Beauty Department HERE that are both sold and shipped by Amazon), you can enter code PRIMEDAY25 at checkout to receive a $25 credit that will apply to your next Luxury Beauty purchase (items must be sold and shipped by Amazon). There are lots of qualifying items to choose from in the Luxury Beauty Department (see all brands HERE), including items that are already discounted from the regular retail prices (example: theBalm Betty-Lou Manizer for $18; reg $24).

  • There are four pages of Luxury Beauty products HERE that are now 35% off with your Prime membership, plus free shipping. DISCOUNTS WILL APPEAR IN YOUR CART--THEY ARE NOT IN THE ITEM LISTINGS. Example: I placed the Mario Badescu The Brightening Kit ($99) in my cart and once I went to checkout, the price dropped to $64.35. I wasn't sure if you could combine this offer with the code listed in my first bullet point, but @lippiesandlotion just confirmed that it worked for her, so definitely give it a try! She said that the code was accepted when her order hit $50 BEFORE the 35% discount, so keep that in mind. And remember that the items you purchase must be shipped and sold by Amazon to qualify.

UPDATE: I just spoke with Amazon Customer Service about this code, because I was having issues at checkout. I can now confirm that the code will apply to your next qualifying Luxury Beauty purchase AFTER YOUR INITIAL PURCHASE SHIPS.

In other words, if you entered the code at checkout and you saw this notation directly underneath your grand total in your cart:

Then you should be good to go. Just wait for your initial purchase to SHIP, and then try ordering something that qualifies from the Luxury Beauty Department and you should see the $25 credit deducted from your purchase price. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE CREDIT, call or email Amazon for further assistance. I cannot help you beyond that--I'm just sharing with you what I was told.

I also cannot tell you that I personally received the $25 credit, because my purchase has not yet shipped. As soon as my purchase ships and I try to use my credit, I will update this post and let you know how it goes. I hope that helps!

PS: If you are trying to make a qualifying purchase and you cannot successfully enter the promo code, please call or email Amazon directly as I cannot help you with that. If you're sure that your purchase qualifies but the system won't accept the code, customer service should be able to issue you a credit or at least help you to get the code to work!

Thanks again, @lippiesandlotion, for the hot tips!
