Thanks SO much to those of you who took the time to leave comments on my previous post about this, and also many thanks to those of you who reached out on social media with this updated info. I truly appreciate it!
And once again, allow me to remind you about:
SEPHORA FLASH
- Now seems like a good time to once again remind you of Sephora Flash. If you don't already have this subscription (or your VIB status doesn't already give you free shipping), I HIGHLY suggest that you sign up for Sephora Flash HERE. For $10 a year, this gives you free 2-day shipping on all orders, no minimum required, for one full year. The subscription starts when you sign up, meaning that anything else you order when you sign up will ship free, no minimum required. This subscription literally pays for itself after two orders, so if you plan on ordering more than twice per year at Sephora, SIGN UP!
If you missed my previous post about the new Sephora Favorites sets and Tarte value set (plus some new codes to go along with them), CLICK HERE.
Thanks for the update, G.! Sorry if I missed it in this post or an earlier one. I'm not a big Sephora shopper, so I'm in the dark. Are there traditionally special sales during the VIB event, or is it just a discount straight across the board?
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, Rubia! And you know, it's definitely not like the Ulta 21 Days of Beauty, but I seem to recall that the last time around, there was a highly-anticipated collection that released on the first day of the event, so Rouge members got first dibs on it. I think they have also given us a few new sets during the event, but I'm a little foggy on that. Hopefully someone else here can remember better than I can!
DeleteAfter reading this, I was reminded that the Minnie Mouse collection is set to arrive at Sephora this month. Maybe it's set to be released at this time? Hmmm... (just my guess!)
DeleteI wish sephora would do a 20% (rouge) 15% (vib) 10% (BI)option. The rouge benefits are pretty slim as is, you would think they would want to woo their biggest spenders more.
ReplyDeleteRight? I've been Rouge for 3 years now and have yet to be very impressed with the Rouge benefits (don't remind me of the epic fail that was the epic rewards fiasco). VIB gets almost the exact same benefits consistently, yet the gap between the spending requirement is huge! And the "Rouge-exclusive" product shades are redundant, underwhelming, and often dupe-able within the standard product line. If I could get YSL, Givenchy, NARS, and Kevyn Aucoin at a store like Ulta or Macy's I wouldn't even bother dealing with Sephora.
DeleteWow, thanks for the honest review. I've been a BI for many years and just last year started my first year as VIB. I don't see myself earning Rouge status anytime soon and thanks to your review, I might keep it that way. There's no point to spend hard earned money at a store to earn exclusive loyalty tier that is not even all that beneficial....BTW, I would double check with Macys. I thought I saw them advertise YSL products.
DeleteNo problem @Reedshoot! Yeah, this year I'm not worried about renewing my Rouge status. I just checked out Macy's and they carry YSL fragrance but not cosmetics, but thank you for the tip!
DeleteHallelujah! Your the freaking best!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBest Friday news ever
You're so welcome, Maria! :)
ReplyDeleteFor April 7th do we have to sign up in advance like other years? I haven't gotten any info from Sephora yet
ReplyDeleteThats good news, in previous years during BI sales, non VIB members would have to wait a whole week after the VIB Rouge members discount week was over and the good items were sold out before we could use our 15 or 10 percent off so one day is a pretty good waiting period between BI discount before you can shop.
ReplyDeleteI'm a VIB and already receive my discount code.. but I'm wondering if I can only use that code for one time purchase only or multiple times during the sale period? Thank you!
ReplyDeleteMultiple times in the past, I'm assuming it will be the same this year.
Deletethank you Sara! time to start planning on my shopping spree!
DeleteIn the past, you could redeem a code multiple times for the same freebie. They won't let you do that anymore, so maybe all codes are one use per person? Maybe just for the deluxe samples.
ReplyDeleteI wish Sephora Flash was usable for those of us who live in Hawaii.
ReplyDeleteI just got the mailer. It says the tote is redeemable in-store only. But in past sales I have ordered online and got the free tote shipped with my order. So I wonder if it really is only in-store this time. I really want the tote this time, it looks so cute! But I'm not sure I will be able to make it to Sephora on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteIs the tote redeemable at Jcp?
ReplyDeleteI was at sephora today and totally forgot about this. I had even gotten my coupon in the mail.. I know it was only 10%, but it would of saved at least $5 off my purchases today... :(
