With the Sephora VIB sale looming this month (20% off storewide for VIB and VIB Rouge), I know that some of you are thinking about whether or not you should take advantage of the current Beauty.com F&F event which is going on now through 11/6 (20% off sitewide for everyone by clicking through THIS LINK, plus free shipping on orders $35+).
Well I'm here to make things easier (or more difficult, as the case may be). Here's a quick list of SOME of the brands that Beauty.com offers, that you cannot find at Sephora. Hopefully this can help you to maximize your savings at BOTH sales.
Brands that Beauty.com carries (that you cannot get at Sephora):

This list is certainly not exhaustive or comprehensive--I just quickly went through the Brands page on Beauty.com and identified some of the brands that I know Sephora doesn't carry (and then double-checked against the Sephora website just to be sure). There are certainly other brands that are missing from this list, but this should get you started!
I hope this helps, and I'd love to hear what you end up ordering (if you're plotting an order, that is!).
Oooh, they have a two-sided Z-palette!!
ReplyDeleteYep!! :)
DeleteBeauty.com has a wider selection of BareMinerals, especially the holiday kits, than does Sephora. (Sephora seems to be pulling the short straw this year. Ulta doesn't just have its exclusive kit, it has kits that other channel partners have that Sephora doesn't...)
ReplyDeleteGreat info, LiAnn! Thanks so much for sharing!!
DeleteBeauty.com also has Baby Foot. It's gross but man it works!!
ReplyDeleteI just saw that! I've been dying to try for so long...maybe I'll finally take the plunge!
DeleteOh crap. I just became VIB at Sephora and was waiting patiently for that 20% off and now you tell me this?! Lol thanks G!
ReplyDeleteAlso wanted to add that you can fulfill the $35 free shipping minimum with items from Drugstore.com as well (in the same cart). That way if you only want to take advantage of the discount for one item, you don't have to buy ANOTHER expensive item to get free shipping :)
ReplyDeleteBeauty.com also has Molton Brown. I JUST realized that and I'll use my 20% off to finally get that Orange and Bergamot shower gel I've been wanting for years (happy dance)!
ReplyDeleteI can honestly say that choosing what to get where has been like making my wedding guest list, very stressful!! But definitely going to be finally trying some Lorac and IT cosmetics, Ulta makes me sad, it doesn't accept non USA credit cards which means I can't buy anything from them, but as others have said, I feel Sephora has been lacking this year and of course the new Chocolate Bar palette is out in early December so I'll have to keep some $$ for that, honestly make up is complicated at times :)
ReplyDeleteI just purchased my holy grail concealer: IT cosmetics bye bye under eye and the Lorac Love Lust & Lace set you just did a first impressions on!!! Saved $10.40 :D
ReplyDeleteSince Sephora charges tax where beauty.com doesn't, I just basically bought things on my love list at Sephora on beauty.com like the nars blushes, that's another 7% (Indiana sales tax) in savings. Also, for the Alterna hair care products, Sephora doesn't sell big sizes, but beauty.com does (16oz vs 8oz).
ReplyDeleteOoh, good point about the tax savings. I didn't factor that in,
DeleteThanks!
Aww, I wanted Gilded Honey from Laura Geller, but it's temporarily out of stock. It was still letting me purchase, and it would be shipped later, but it wouldn't give me the discount. Boo!!
ReplyDeleteI'm considering getting items I might have even purchased from Sephora b/c this year I am only a BI, and so I only get 10% off, which is such a racket. Might as well spend my money where someone is going to give me 20% off no matter what. I might also pick up something from Soap & Glory.
ReplyDeleteI think the Friends and Family sale ends on Nov. 21st, not Nov. 6th.
