The Wednesday Question

If you could only use one lipstick, one perfume, and one nail color for the rest of 2015, which three products would you choose?

  1. Black Honey Almost Lipstick from Clinique
a mix of amber and vanilla essential oils for perfume
    Ballet Slippers nail enamel

    1. Essie Ballet Slippers is a timeless classic. Nice pick!

  2. Lipstick Queen Jean Queen
    Marc Jacobs Honey
    Illamasqua Pink Raindrops

  3. my black tube Wet n Wild lipstick that I'm WAY too lazy to go look up the name of (it's a coralish pink), the Hello sample I got last month from BB and the Sally Hansen insta-dry pink blink 205 (my signature color this year) My holographic gold polish almost won out but really- I wear the pink all the time so it should win.

  4. Nyx Matte lipstick in Perfect Red
The Body Shop's Satsuma scented anything
NYC In A Minute in Grand Central Station, mixing in any pigments or glitter I want >3

  5. L'oreal Choco-Lacque
    Vera Wang Rock Princess
    OPI Every Month is Oktoberfest

    1. Oh, I love the glowy crimson goodness of Oktoberfest. And perfect for the holidays, too. :)

  6. Lipstick: L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Lacque Lip Color in Choco-Lacque (the perfect not-too-pink nude)
Perfume: Too hard, as I get tired of one smell pretty fast and need to change it up often
Nail Polish: Butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Trollop (which I got on sale thanks to you!)

    1. Yay for snagging that one on sale!! So glad I could help (It's so pretty!). :)

  7. Sonia Kashuk Shine Luxe Sheer Plum
    Solstice Scents Kitchen
    Essie Merino Cool

  8. Mac Sheen Supreme in Bare Again
    Versace Bright Crystal
Nails Inc-Nail Kale in Montpelier Walk

  9. I am obsessed with mauve and no I am not old.
Touch of spice maybellyine matte sensational
    CND married to mauve
    Amazing grace by philosophy

  10. Lipstick: Essence Nude Love
    Perfume: Tom Ford Black Orchid
    Polish: China Glaze Midnight Ride

  11. That's a hard one, G.!!! LOL But here are my choices (I'm very classic):
    Lipstick Queen Medieval
    Philosophy Amazing Grace
    OPI Bubble Bath

    1. Lol! I know, right? That's why I didn't answer myself (my blog, my rules! LOL!!). And yes, Bubble Bath is a great, classic choice! Can't go wrong with that one. Now you're making me want to bust out my WnW Sugar Coat (a reader posted about that being a dupe for Bubble Bath years ago here on the blog, so I never ended up buying the real thing...close enough?). ;)

    2. I had WnW Sugar Coat and it's a pretty close dupe. My only reason I preferred Bubble Bath is that Sugar Coat got streaky on me the longer I owned it. The formula, I guess, started drying a little, the more I used it. I still own Bubble Bath, consistently use it, and the formula is still the same. To me, that's a good splurge!

  12. Milani Teddy Bare
    Estee Lauder Spellbound
    Zoya Leah

    1. Aaaah, I've had my eye on Leah for months. So pretty.

  13. Revlon Balm Stain in Crush
    Pacifica Island Vanilla
    Essie Go Overboard

    1. Nice picks! I love me some Island Vanilla, and you can't go wrong with a dark teal creme. :)

  14. Hmmmmm....
Lipstick Clinique Butter Shine 462 Apri-Cutie
    Perfume Chanel Coco Mademoiselle
Orly Space Cadet or Essie Braziliant.
I know I'm a weirdo, just can't keep going back to these two babies no matter how hard I try :)

    1. Space Cadet is probably my fave Orly of all time. I remember being so frustrated a few years ago when I reviewed it, because I just couldn't capture its full beauty in pics!

  22. Lips: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Standout. It's the most comfortable matte red I've ever worn!

  23. ModelCo Dusk Till Dawn

Mac Boy Orange which is almost the perfect orangey-red cream nail color

  44. God, that's tough. I may go fetal.

Since it's still fall for most of the rest of the year, I'd pick Clinique Black Honey, but if it were some other time of the year I'd go with Lipstick Queen's Frog Prince (one swipe is pretty and sheer, but it really builds up to a deeper, brighter stain if you keep applying)
    Orly Ingenue (also buildable)
    Chanel No. 5
