Maybelline The Brights, The Smokes and The Nudes palettes
(retail: $9.99 each, 0.34 oz)
You can click HERE to view these palettes but as of the time of this post, THEY ARE NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE (I'm talking about The Brights and The Smokes of course--The Nudes palette has been available for a few weeks now and you can definitely purchase that at Ulta). Believe me, I tried to order The Brights and The Smokes and I was met with the dreaded "this item is temporarily out of stock" message when I added them to my cart. Hopefully they will be available soon, both at Ulta and at all of the usual retailers!
Again, my full review of The Nudes palette (with dupe comparisons) is HERE if you missed it.
Thanks again, Fae F., for the great news!
Awww man. I didn't even realize that they can't actually be purchased yet. I was just so excited that I actually saw a retailer with the other two palettes. I don't have much expectations for The Brights palette, but I'm sure I'll purchase it anyway (as long as there's a sale and coupons involved).
ReplyDeleteCan't wait until these two are available for purchase. I got the nude palette last week and as long as I can get these on sale too, I'll be happy. These are a good value if you ask me and they both look very pretty, so I'm anxious to see them in person!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for these palettes! I'm definitely snagging them if I can find them at Ulta or Target for the $10 range! I think between these 3 palettes, I've gotten my eyeshadow fix for a while, lol!
ReplyDeleteThe Nudes palette is available at the Shoppers Drug Mart next to Bloor-Yonge Station (in the tunnel). There's a bunch on the shelf!
ReplyDeleteAh, I should add: Bloor-Yonge Station in Toronto. :)
ReplyDeleteI saw these at my local Walmart in NJ. I'm excited to try the nudes pallette!
ReplyDeleteWhat I'm curious (and doubtful) about is whether or not either of the palettes will usher in new color tattoos. I doubt it as they got rid of four or five old colors and five new coming in, but a girl can dream (esp if they came with the smokes).
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely gonna get the brights and the smokes for traveling. I would get the nudes but I already have Naked 1 and Nude Tude. But I've seen the Nudes at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond in Atlanta.
ReplyDeleteThese look exciting! I've been pleasantly surprised with the quality of some of their recent quads so I can hope that these will be good too! Thx for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder if The Brights and The Smokes are laid out like The Nudes, that is, in quads, trios, and duos.
ReplyDeleteWow this is so exciting!!!! The brights and smokes look beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThe Smokes looks amazing!! I just might get that one instead of The Nudes.
ReplyDeleteNow, if only I've been able to see The Nudes palette around here somewhere...I might have luck when the others come out.
I might have to hit Walmart & Ulta tomorrow to see if they even carry The Nudes pallet.
Can you do a post on a beginners makeup kit or any great high end product to splurge for? Bye LOVE your website! xx
ReplyDeletethe Brights palette is totally calling my name. I hope these pop up soon in stores so I can get my hands on them!!
ReplyDeleteI have seen the Nudes at CVS and Target (western suburbs of Philly). I want to get the Smokes, though. Don't see them anywhere yet.
ReplyDeleteI found The Smokes palette for sale at a Walgreens today!
ReplyDeleteFound the smokes at Walgreens and grabbed it . Waiting to find the brights!
ReplyDeletedefinitely going to hunt down walgreens then since the smokes & brights are being found! how much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?
DeleteI haven't seen them yet (keeping my eyes open though), but I my Walgreens is selling The Nudes for $11.99, so probably around that price I assume. I my Nudes palette at Target for $9.99
DeleteAnyone in NYC spot the smokes or brights anywhere?
ReplyDeleteSaw the Smokes at Walgreens but that was the only one left. I like the Nudes but the colors in the Smokes didn't grab me -- will look great on many people, though! :-)
ReplyDeleteI have the NUDE palet and the BLUSH one thats not displayed above. But I love the Nude plate! The champagne looking color (third from the left on the bottom) is my new favorite go to shadow! These colors are really pigmented surprisingly and blend well. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a good plate thats not super expensive!
