The new Garnier Cleansing Oil, Primer and Skin Corrector have landed

Many thanks to two lovely readers for the following info.  First up, reader Jane just let me know that she spotted the new Garnier Clean+ Nourishing Cleansing Oil that I first told you about here at CVS. So it has landed! If you've been anxious to try this one, start looking for it at CVS first (it should eventually be everywhere, of course). You can definitely expect a review from me in the future--I love cleansing oils and can't wait to try this one.

Next up: Longtime reader Jess let me know that two other new Garnier products are now available on the CVS website (I've also heard from readers who have spotted these products at their local CVS stores):

Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer Anti-Age Skin Corrector
(retail: 16.99, 1.7 oz)

From the CVS website:
As skin ages, wrinkles and loss of firmness occur, and skin begins to look less smooth and less luminous. Some anti-aging creams take time to help correct the signs of aging, but you want to see a more immediate transformation. With breakthrough transforming technology, Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer Anti-Age Skin Corrector provides a double transformation. The auto-adjusting texture transforms on contact with skin for immediate correction and brightening. It releases micro-pigments that instantly adjust to any skin tone whether you are fair, medium, or deep, making skin flawless, smooth and radiant. Over time, the formula with Pro-Retinol from Nature boosts natural cell renewal while actually protecting skin's surface moisture barrier, to help prevent dryness* so wrinkles are reduced and firmness is restored.
INSTANTLY: Skin is smooth, luminous and even-toned.
IN 5 DAYS: Skin is transformed, it feels firmer and the appearance of fine lines** is minimized.
IN 4 WEEKS: Wrinkles are reduced and a more youthful look is restored.
Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer Anti-Age Skin Corrector is dermatologist tested for safety, non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), allergy tested, gentle to skin, and non-greasy. Pro-Retinol from Nature is developed through the process of green chemistry. (*In-vitro testing. **Dry lines.)

Have you spotted any of these new Garnier products at your local CVS lately (or anywhere else)? What do you think? Again, I will definitely be reviewing the new Cleansing Oil when I get it, and I'm also interested in the new primer. At first I was a bit scared off by the price of the primer, but then I remembered how often CVS runs sales and Extra Bucks deals on Garnier (we'll NEVER have to pay full-price, of course!).

Thanks again, Jane and Jess, for the heads-up about these new products!

  1. Oooh exciting! I hadn't heard that Garnier had a cleansing oil coming out. FINALLY! I just ran out of my precious TATCHA cleansing oil and while I absolutely love it, the thought of spending that much on what is essentially a face wash/makeup remover hurts. I was lamenting that the U.S didn't have any drugstore brand cleansing oils available just the other day, so this news came just in time! Will def be scouring the stores for this! :)

  3. The Smoother sounds exactly like Miracle Blur and at a better price!

  4. The smoother definitely sounds like the Miracle Blur... and maybe even like the Maybelline Baby Face product (which I haven't been able to find yet...). I'm still undecided on the Miracle Blur but I've always like Garnier products so I'd be willing to give this a try - pending some reviews of course =)

  6. I haven't used Garnier products in a while, but I am pretty stoked about that cleansing oil. I know they're usually great for all skin types, but my dry, dehydrated skin is especially excited!

  7. Definitely intrigued by the cleansing oil, and will be on the lookout for that! Much better price point than either the Shu Uemura and DHC cleansing oils I like.

  8. so excited to try this cleansing oil! i love cleansing oils but there is a sad lack of them in east coast drugstores, and the higher-end ones i like are too pricey for me to buy often.
