Wet n Wild Fall 2013 Be A Runway Beauty display
So let's break this down, row by row...
Top row: nothing new (all existing permanent collection products).
Second row: three existing Coloricon trios plus three NEW Coloricon trios (more on that in a second).
Third row: "New" Megalast polish shades. I put "new" in quotes because I believe that these shades are some of the 40+ Dollar-General-exclusive shades that were first spotted at Dollar General back in March (see post here). And many of these shades are actually repromotes of existing Spoiled by Wet n Wild polishes (which are CVS-exclusives).:

Now let's move on to the most exciting part of this display: THREE NEW TRIOS! Reader Janelle (@theprpldy on Instagram) was nice enough to share these pics and swatches (she found these at her local Kmart as well):

NOTE: Janelle said that her swatches of this trio are not 100% color-accurate, and that the middle shade is not a cool pink (it's more of a coral, like in the the first photo). I tried to color-correct it a bit but it didn't work, so I just want to make sure you know that this is more of a coral and not a cool pink.

DeleteI have to agree about the polishes, they all look like ones from Dollar General. I'm looking forward to more swatches from the eyeshadows, I'm not sure how I feel about them just yet.

OMG! I was in Kmart yesterday and didnt see these.But they did have an untouched display of the ToughGirl collection.So i picked up to extra Enlisting for Beauty Pallets/mascara duo.So ill have to head back again next week.I was also at a local Walgreens and these were no where in sight.Im gonna try 2 different Walgreens tommorow.Maybe my local Walmart, i try not to shop there.Need these.

DeleteIs the pink/coral in "Silent Era" anywhere similar to "Spoiled Army Brats"? Since they're both suppose to be coral-ish shades (from what I've read).

They're nice! Two of the browbone shades are sheer, but overall pretty good!

I also noticed that there's no sticker on them indicating they are LE but who knows...They are all gorgeous but my favorite ones are "Silent Era Film" and "Grays Matter". The texture on all three is fantastic as usual and I enjoy the fact that there's a sheen to almost all of the shades without being glittery. I wouldn't dare to say that any of the shades are super unique but they are worth the hunt if you are an addict like most of us are here..lol

ReplyDeletesadly my walgreens only had the 1st 2.So i picked them up.I got a feeling these are limited edition.But you never know if they are slowly moving these in the collection.Id really like to know, so i can stock up on any that they may pull out.Ill be going to one more walgreens today, so lets hope i find the Grays Matter.

ReplyDeleteI am very impressed with my local Walgreens! They had the full Tough Girl display before I even heard about it. I thought it was probably a fluke, so when I read about this Fall collection a few days ago, I thought I'd give it a while. I stopped there today, just to take a peek, and they had it! I picked up all three new trios. They also had all the e.l.f. Disney stuff, Sinful Colors Halloween collection, a bunch of new stuff! It was great.
ReplyDeleteEek! I actually found these!!! My stores usually never carry the LE stuff, so I was skeptical. I went back to Kmart and got the only one of each of these :) That NEVER happens... In fact, I was there yesterday, and they didn't have the display up. I feel dumb that I drove all the way out to Walgreens to look now. Speaking of, ours is so sad... We JUST got the SC Country and Rock collections you talked about a while back. And oddly, they had one of the Fergie LE box sets. But none of the things I wanted. I ALMOST scored Poison Ivy, but they had dropped it so the lid cracked and spilled all over the bottle. It looked rough would be putting it nicely...

ReplyDeleteSo far I have wiped out 2 displays lol.Doubles for me and a friend.Im so lucky to be surrounded by so many stores.It makes my searching easy.I even found A new display of the Spring pallets at a RitAid last friday.I picked up 2 more NudeAwakening pallets.:) The other 2 were a bit damaged.

ReplyDeleteI just stumbled across these at Walgreen's in Hopkins, MN last night! I got all three and one extra Camera Obscura for my friend- and that wiped out the rest of their stock. Looked like they just put them on their old small endcap- the colors were not correct on the cardboard display, that is the same shape as the one pictured above. I also got 2 new polishes. So glad I fell across these! I came home and had to look online for what collection they belong to, since I collect WnW and had not heard of these!
