NEW Revlon Super Lustrous Lipglosses
(retail: $6.47 at Walmart)
I believe there are ten shades in this display (a few are repeated). The display says "NEW" and not limited edition, and notice that the shape of the tubes is now ROUND! It appears that Revlon has given the Super Lustrous Lipgloss line a makeover, and most of the shades in this display are ALL NEW (there's one exception--keep reading for details).
Browneyez also shared a closer look at the shades in the bottom row:

240 Fatal Apple, 230 Sugar Violet, 215 Super Natural, 260 Rosy Future, 225 Berry Allure
240 Fatal Apple, 230 Sugar Violet, 215 Super Natural, 260 Rosy Future, 225 Berry Allure
Again, these tubes are round (as you know, the original Super Lustrous Lipglosses are square) and with the exception of Pink Pop, the shades that I can make out in this display are all new. How gorgeous is Sugar Violet, by the way?
I don't want to cause any hysteria here, but since the display above is calling these "Super Lustrous Lipgloss" and not some other name, there's a chance that the older, square tubes are being replaced with these new, round tubes and shades. If you have any favorites from the older line, you might want to stock up.
Have any of you spotted this display in stores yet? Thoughts?
Thanks so much, Browneyez, for the fantastic sighting and pics!
Oh, they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love Revlon lip products so much! I am excited to see new colors! Sugar Violet does look gorgeous! The round tube is really going to throw off my storage tho! I store by brand and all my Revlons stand so neatly next to each other! I am on a no buy until vacation but then....look out!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love new shades... But don't mess with my Foiled! I love that shade!
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to Ulta today, all of the original Super Lustrous Lipglosses (in the square tubes) were on clearance. I also saw some of them on clearance at CVS and Target the other week as well.
ReplyDeleteOooh, thanks for the tip, Morgan!
DeleteSame observations in my area. I was really hoping they wouldn't go away and were just being repackaged, but just in case, I stocked up on a couple clearance tubes of Nude Luster, my go-to nude, for around $3 each.
DeleteI did the same thing with Nude Luster, Lindsey! haha.
DeleteOohhh!! Does that mean the square packaged ones will go on clearance sale? -hopes-
ReplyDeleteIt looks like they already are (see Morgan's comment above)!
DeleteA few look the same as the original line, but with a different name. However, I am not seeing anything close to Lilac Pastelle or Coral Reef. =O
ReplyDeleteI did see the original super lustrous line on clearance at Target the other day. These look gorgeous! My goodness, all these new drugstore releases are killing me!
ReplyDeleteI went into Walgreens tonight and all of the original Revlon Super Lustrous lip glosses were on clearance.
ReplyDeleteI marked the original line down today at the Walgreens I work at. I believe they were marked down to $4.49(or something like that).
ReplyDeleteThis is what happens when you fall asleep too early and wake up at 2am..start reading and making lists for the morning!Sugar Violet and Fatal Apple, oh what the heck all of them are too pretty to pass up. I do not for the life of me care about Lipstick..but gloss, these are a must have for me.
ReplyDeleteSugar Violet!!!! :O
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna have to stalk my nearest Ulta!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I love the original glosses, and I've seen them dissapearing everywhere! I've been wanting Pink Pop
ReplyDeleteSo I see makeup brands just enjoy taking away every single item I adore away from me I hope they have a peach petal replacement it is the only nude gloss from the drugstore I like. They do seem pretty .
ReplyDeleteI like the new ones but they are all shimmer and no replacement for the lilac, red-orange jelly, or coral- not ok :(
ReplyDeleteSpotted the older square versions on clearance at Walgreens today (4/29) got Nude Luster for 1.38 and Coral Reef for 3.78! I could see a spot that looked set aside for the new models!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to try Sugar Violet!
ReplyDeleteSigh...I don't like shimmery/glittery glosses. :( I wish they hadn't reformulated this line, it was one of the only drugstore lines that had non-shimmery glosses with a good formula.
