I've been hearing about this new limited edition collection from Revlon for a few weeks now, but I've yet to spot it in any stores near me. Reader Justine spotted it the other day at Walgreens and was nice enough to share some pics, and also swatches of the lip glosses with us! Take a peek:

New Revlon Limited Edition Naked Tips & Neon Lips Collection
New Revlon Limited Edition Naked Tips & Neon Lips Collection
As you can see, there are eight new ColorStay nail polishes in this collection, all varying shades of nude. These remind me of the L'Oreal LE New York Nudes collection from last summer, don't they? It looks like the bottles in this display have the usual "New Shade" stickers on them, so I'm not sure if these are truly limited edition or if they'll be rolled out in the Revlon permanent display at some point (I can't tell if the bottles have numbers on the top, or just shade names--as you know, if a Revlon polish has both a number and shade name, that means it's permanent. If any of you know, please leave a comment and fill us in? Thanks!).
There are also three new Colorburst lip glosses in this display, which appear to be limited edition shades.
Keep reading for swatches of all three glosses...

We don't see to many yellow glosses at the drugstore level--if you've been looking for one (to either wear on its own or warm up an existing lip color) I'd grab this one while you can.
Have you purchased anything from the Nude Lips & Neon Lips collection? Thoughts?
Thanks so much for the great sighting, pics and swatches, Justine!
I saw this same display in Walgreens a few days ago, but passed it by because I'm looking for bright, bold nail colors.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow gloss is calling to me but none of them are neon!
ReplyDeleteOh I am sold on this! Must have all Revlon glosses! I love them! So excited to find these! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou can never go wrong with nude colors! I have yet to see this display either but those ColorStay polishes are just divine so I will definitely snatch up one or two!
ReplyDeleteI saw this display as well. The orange one looks just like orange juice. I bought it out of sheer curiosity.
ReplyDeleteI bought the orange one out of curiosity. It looks just like orange juice.
ReplyDeleteI love that last gloss (the one in the red tube)! Do you happen to know the name of it?
ReplyDeleteThat coral-y one is Killer Watt. The pink one is Atomic Pink and the orangey/yellow is Orange Glow. I've been stalking down all drugstores for killer watt, its beautiful...the only thing from that display I picked up is Cool Beige nail polish, looks like a cappucino!
DeleteI've only seen this display at Walgreens so far; the bottles in the displays I've come across do not have shade numbers on the caps, just the names. These do seem like basic colors they'd want in the core line, though--one of the pinks was already sold out in one of the stores. I haven't bought any yet because I'd like to wait for a sale.
ReplyDeleteOh, that yellow is hilarious. I would love to see it on a real person's lips. It reminds me of the neon yellow mascara that I just loved to wear back in the late 80's. I love the nude, nearly pastel polishes this time of year. The promise of spring!
ReplyDeleteAgreed with KarenD, the nail polish bottles only have names, not numbers. Thanks for the tip about LE vs permanent shades, I think you've posted that before, but this time I'm going to remember! I was confused by the "new shade" stickers. I bought Killer Watt (I have some swatches on my blog) - it's surprisingly sheer when applied.
ReplyDeleteVery very very into that coral-y gloss!
ReplyDeleteThat pink gloss looks like a dupe for my beloved (& hard-to-find) Love & Beauty *no name* gloss. Especially the swatch! This makes me happy. =)
ReplyDeleteThe glosses look so pretty! I'm curious to see lip swatches for the yellow lip gloss. The nail polishes look great too!
ReplyDeleteI JUST saw this display at my Walgreens today....now I kinda wished I picked up the coral lipgloss now that I see it swatched! Guess I will be going back! = )
ReplyDeleteI might get that yellow/orange shade. I wanna try and use it to warm up some cooler lippies I have!
ReplyDeleteMaybe pick up some nuetrals np as well. I want a nude that matches my skin tone...
I got Killer Watt and do love it even though it is not Neon at all and quite sheer. It is very close to Colorbust Papaya, KW is a tad pinker and more jelly like. KW is also similar to the cheaper Super Lusterous Coral Reef. I guess I buy every coral gloss Revlon puts in front of me! Atomic Pink seems similar to Super Lusterous Pink Pop, I hope the Super Lusterous line isn't being D/C'd it's really good gloss. Orange flip is fascinating, I wonder what it's like on lips?
ReplyDeleteSaw this display at ulta and walgreens today, not getting anything from this collection
ReplyDeleteSaw this display at ulta and walgreens today, decided not to buy from this collection but did buy girlyfrom the bubblegum day and urban nights collection and it is amazing
ReplyDeleteI have seen this display at cvs and ulta. As much as I love neutral nail polishes, I just own too much!
ReplyDeleteThe display says limited edition in the top left corner, but I wish the polishes were permanent because I love the colorstay line and I wish they had more neutrals like this.
ReplyDeleteHopefully they get this in my store I want some of those nail colors...glosses not so much cuz I can make that coral color by toning down my shocking coral color vivid by blotting multiple times then add a shimmery gloss on top..although the yellow seems intriguing
ReplyDeleteJust an fyi, I picked up two of these polishes at Rite Aid this morning on clearance for 79 cents!
ReplyDeleteThe yellow sounds pretty! Sadley, I could never wear it though... assuming I could spare the cash to get it in the first place =D
