The above pic was taken of the actual display. As you can see, it offers ideas about how to use these stencils in conjunction with the limited edition nail colors also in this collection.

There always seems to be one "runaway hit" that people are clamoring to get in the Gucci Westman limited edition collections, so I'm curious what the "must-have" will be in The Shanghai Collection (maybe one of the lip colors?).
Have you spotted this collection in your area yet? If so, what did you think of it? I can't wait to see it in person and you can be sure I'll be stalking my CVS stores until it I find it.
Thanks again, Niki, for both of the great Revlon sightings today. I really appreciate it!
:( too bad the eyeshadows are cream,I like the shades but I just can't stand any cream eyeshadow...
ReplyDeleteThe weird thing is, I like cream eyeshadows and don't seem able to find them :(
DeleteI have a Revlon neutrals palette that I found last year and love it. I apply primer or foundation to my lids first, give that a good ten minutes to dry, then apply the cream eyeshadow and I get a good 8-10 hrs' worth of staying power. I guess my lids aren't all that oily?
Eh, too bad the eyeshadows are cream eyeshadows (like the above commenter said.). I've tried the Revlon cream eyeshadows from the regular line and to be honest, they were terrible. Creasy, oily, blech!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, aly7. I bought a 4 color LE palette with a midnight blue and a LUSCIOUS iridescent blue, and they're USELESS. I might as well hage smeared Vaseline on my lids.
DeleteI spotted some Revlon Halloween stencils at Bed, Bath & Beyond today. They had skulls, mustaches, spiders, and a couple other seasonal things. If I remember right, the price was about $6 for 10 of them. Kind of cute, but a bit steep for my tastes.
ReplyDeleteBoo, the Top Speed shades are so boring! I remember the cute bright shades the brought out last year but everything since has been a snooze.
ReplyDeleteThe CVS in the Rolando/SDSU area on El Cajon had the whole collection this morning. I don't think anyone had picked through it yet. I looked at the stencils but I think I want to invest in that inexpensive stamping kit instead.
ReplyDeleteooo I'm excited to find out what the lipcolors may be?
ReplyDeleteone quick questions, is Cargo Cosmetics being discontinued? today i was at sephora and was horrified to see the stand gone and most products...or what was left was on clearance :( are they just leaving the sephora store? so you know much about this? thanks!
You're actually really lucky, as Cargo was discontinued from main Sephora stores a year or two ago. You can still get them at the Macy's Impulse counters, ULTA, and Sephora @ JCP, though, as far as I know. HTH!
Deleteafter I posted this, i looked online and it said 2010! you're right! :O
Deletebut just two weeks ago the cargo section was still at my Sephora at jcp lol :) thank god it's still at ulta. the one base concealer is my fav. thanks for helping me out!
Oooh thats the palette they used for Rag & Bone fashion show
ReplyDeleteYou had me at "palette." I will almost definitely get suckered in to that.
ReplyDeleteI bought the 2 red nail polishes and the palette. I hope these are better than the old cream shadows they sold. The colors are beautiful. I may run back and pick up the lip colors as well.
ReplyDeleteIf you have a HEB grocery store near you, they currently have a 3.00 off coupon for eyes and face and lips and a 1.50 off for nail polishes going on right now.
The lip colors are Pink Pearl - 030, Red Lacquer - 029, and Cherry Blossom - 028. They are all listed as Pearl.
ReplyDeleteI am sad to report that the palette is total crap!
ReplyDeleteI put on 2 different eye looks to try out several colors and they faded in 20 minutes. Took the colors off, tried again with an eye primer (elf) and 20 minutes in, faded, I am talking major fading!(used green/gold on one eye, plum/pearl on the other.
The pearl left serious chunky glitter behind and the gold leaned orangey on me.
The only redeeming quality this palette has, maybe the black I smudged it under my eye and that hasn't moved one bit. Not enough to keep this. I will be returning it this afternoon.
I am majorly bummed, the colors are beautiful in the palette, but seriously major fading in 20 minutes?!
More nail art templates! I like these!
ReplyDeleteCherry Blossom lipstick is the one featured in magazines, so I assume it's the one to buy. :)I know the cream shadows from Revlon are usually really bad (even though Gucci Westman uses them). I think runway makeup isn't meant to last very long.
ReplyDeletecan please tell me wear to buy the stencils revlon nail art.in canada . thank you.
