It's been a while since I have been this bonkers about a new eyeliner collection, but I've got to tell you, the new Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliners are rocking my world. This is a pretty bold statement coming from me, but these liners last longer on my waterline than any other liner I have ever owned, including those from UD, MUFE, Milani, CoverGirl, L'Oreal, Revlon and the list goes on and on.
I think it's a testament to these liners that I want to devote another post to them, since I already reviewed them here. (Be sure to click that post to see swatches and pics of the liners themselves). But I honestly can't help myself--I have to rave about these again because I am so blown away and impressed by them that I can't stop using them, and if I'm this excited by them, of course I want to share my excitement with you!
But first I'd like to review for you the new Palladio Felt Tip Eyeliner, and then show you some eye-looks using this liner, the new shadows (which I already reviewed here) and also the Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliners (on my waterline, of course) so you can understand exactly what I'm talking about.
New Palladio Felt-Tip Eyeliner Pen in Jet Black
I love felt-tip eyeliners, but if and only if they're easy to use. I think we all know that a good felt-tip liner hinges on the quality of the applicator tip, and I'm pleased to tell you that the tip on this liner is wonderful. It's stiff, but not too stiff, and it really enables me to get down in between my lashes with ease, because the point is so fine. Also, the pigmentation is amazing--a true, deep black that in no way borders on blue or green. This is a "blackest black" type of shade for sure.
What I also love about this liner is the consistency of the line. If you take a look at the swatches above, you'll notice that all three separate lines are about the same width. I love that because you don't have to worry about drawing your line too thin or too thick. It's always the same, and it's super dependable.
The pigmentation of this liner is awesome as well. Even when I use it on days when I'm wearing a lot of eyeshadow, I find that my eyeshadow doesn't mix with this liner to water down the pigmentation of the liner (don't you hate it when that happens?).
The first pic in the above collage was taken immediately after applying the Palladio Felt-Tip Eyeliner in Jet Black to my upper lashline. I also used the new Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quad in Green to Go (which I reviewed here) and the Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner in Black Onyx (which I reviewed here) on my waterline.
The second pic above was taken after seven hours of wear. I have NEVER had an eyeliner last for seven hours on my waterline before. Ever. I'm telling you, the Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner in Black Onyx is rocking my world.
(apologies for my brows in these pics--I was overdue for a waxing)
Here's an eye-look I created using the new Palladio Herbal Eyeshadow Quad in Blue Suede (which I reviewed here), and the Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner in Electric Blue (which I reviewed here). Same story with this blue eyeliner, folks. It lasted ALL DAY on my waterline.
FINAL VERDICT: Whether you're looking for a good felt-tip liner or a pencil liner to use on your waterline, I don't think you can go wrong with these new products from Palladio. My oily skin often eats up liners and they never last for more than a few hours on my waterline. This is NOT the case with the new Herbal Precision Eyeliners from Palladio, and I just can't stress enough that if you want long-lasting color on your waterline, you should definitely consider giving them a shot, especially for just $6 retail.
You can find Palladio products online, at Sally Beauty and also at Ulta. Palladio informed me that the new products will be in Sally stores within the next week, but I've heard from many of you that you've already spotted them at your local Sally locations, so call ahead and find out if your Sally already has them in stock.

7 HOURS on the water line? Holy Moley! I have super watery eyes and can't get liners to last 7 MINUTES there. I have a 15% off Sally's coupon so I'll have go buy one.
ReplyDeleteYou have beautiful liner skills!
ReplyDeleteI love the green look! 7 hours of wear? What?! I'm heading out to Sally Beauty today for the quad and hopefully they have the liner as well. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just bought the Palladio Herbal Precision Eyeliner and can't wait to use it! I may have to stop by my Sally's again and pick up the felt-tip eyelinear since it seems amazing as well :)
ReplyDeleteNow im gonna have to go and get the felt tip eyeliner. I need a new one. Maybe they will put these products on sale in May.
ReplyDeleteThis looks is FABULOUS! Any tips on "how" you acheived it? I seem to have a "blending" problem when it comes to shadows! Also, do you think I could pull off blue shadow w/ blue eyes?
ReplyDeleteOh I have always wondered about them, thank for the review! They sound like a great buy.
ReplyDeleteYour eyes look beautiful and whats funny is no one would ever know whether you used a Chanel eyeshadow palette or a Palladio palette!! Stunning!!
ReplyDeleteCan anyone recommend a good nude/peach eyeliner for waterlinging? I can only find white eyeliners at the drugstore and I've even considered trying a lip liner instead. Absurd?
ReplyDeleteI cant remember if i saw the felt tip ones when i went to get the herbal eyeliner. would it have been released with all the other new stuff. It probably was there i just wasnt looking for it.
ReplyDeleteI went to Sallys looking for the Felt tip eyeliner and could not find it. For some reason, it is not in the Palladio website either? Is is suppose to be available now?
ReplyDeleteI went to Sallys today and they had everything else like the shadows and lipliners, and herbal eyeliers but not the felt tip one, and i really wanted it. The associate did not know when they will come in. Hopefully soon cause i need a new one and really wanna try this one.
ReplyDeleteThese Palladio liners look interesting! I'm not a fan of marker type liners as I find them always too dry, especially going over eyeshadow. Also, I can't imagine how they work on your waterline because I've tried using liquid liner on my waterline and it just bleeds all over my eyeball, thoroughly freaking me out lol. These ones must be special indeed, and perhaps worth looking into!
ReplyDelete@Fatima: I recently saw MissChievous use Max Factor kohl pencil in Natural Glaze on her waterline, it looks like a flesh-toned liner. (This was in her Christian Dior Spring/Summer tutorial.) I'm thinking of trying it myself but Max Factor can be hard to find in my area. Anyway, hope that helps! :)
