Get My Holy Grail DHC Deep Cleansing Oil for $14 + Free Shipping + 4 Free Samples (Regularly $28)
As you may or may not know, my holy grail facial cleanser is DHC Deep Cleansing Oil (DHC is a Japanese skincare brand with US headquarters in San Francisco). You can read my old review of it here, but just know that even after using (and enjoying) so many drugstore cleansing oils over the years, I still go back to this one. The performance, ingredients (first ingredient is olive oil and it has a shorter ingredient list than most cleansing oils), and ease of use just can't be beat. For me, at least! It removes every last stitch of my makeup and it leaves my oily skin so clean, without any residue. Love love love this stuff.
The 6.7 oz. DHC Deep Cleansing Oil normally retails for $28 on the DHC site as well as on Amazon (where I usually get it because of free shipping). But now through 10/31, new customers can get it on the DHC site here it for $14.99 + free shipping and your choice of FOUR free samples at checkout (I recommend the mini Mild Soap sample if you have oily skin).
DHC very rarely offers free shipping (you usually have to spend $85+ for free shipping), so this is a rare opportunity to try this cleansing oil at a great price, if you're interested! And if you do order, I would LOVE if you'd let me know how you like it. I truly hope you love it as much as I do!
PS: even if it doesn't work out for you when it comes to your face, I want to mention that it doubles as an excellent makeup brush and makeup sponge cleaner!

This is my one and only cleansing oil, I love it. Thanks so much for the scoop on this deal!
ReplyDeleteYay!! You're so welcome, Liz. :)
DeleteHey G!
ReplyDeleteWhen you oil cleanse, do you rinse your face off afterwards or just use a toner/micellar water?
Thanks for all you do!
you should rinse off and then use cleanser. it's called double cleansing
DeleteI do not double cleanse. With this cleansing oil in particular, there is absolutely no need. No residue at all, and no lingering traces of makeup. It removes everything for me, and leaves my face very clean. :)
DeleteSo, you have to be new customer? :(
ReplyDeleteYep. I tried to make that clear in the link. :) But maybe you could ask someone (friend or family) to buy for you?

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I was mistaken. It ended up discounting the shipping if you scroll all the way to the end. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteOh yay! Glad you saw that at the end! :)
Deleteordering! I'm done with my Palmer cleansing oil in about 2-3 days.. another great recommendation from you! thanks for the hot tip :)
ReplyDeleteOh great! I'm so glad the Palmer's is working for you!! I love that one too, but THIS on is my very favorite. I would love to know what you think when you get it, Irene. :)
DeleteThanks so much!
ReplyDeleteI love this cleansing oil. It's a little drying for me, but keeps my pores clear like nothing else.
The economy shipping doesn't appear as free, but if you scroll down to the bottom you'll see a (4.50) gift certificate credit that cancels out the shipping fee.
You're so welcome, Kuri! And yeah, I've heard that it can be a little drying for people with normal to dry skin. Works like a charm for my oily skin but I'm glad you are pleased with the results, regardless. :)
DeleteI'm going to have to go order this now!
ReplyDeleteI would love to know what you think when you get it! :)
DeleteJust got it with your link - thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :) I would love to know what you think when you get it!
DeleteOrdered this today and I'm excited to try it because I also have very oily skin. I have a DHC tubing mascara that I absolutely love because it doesn't smear or smudge like even waterproof mascara does with my oily skin.
ReplyDeleteMeredith, I think you're going to love it! Please do keep me posted? :)
DeleteI don't have oily skin, wonder if it would work out for me.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that it can be a tad drying if you have normal to dry skin. For my oily skin it works beautifully, but I'm not sure it will be a perfect fit for you. It is extremely effective at removing dirt, oils and makeup though, and it doesn't leave any oily residue behind. Hope that helps a bit!
DeleteI've always wanted to try this- so I ordered ; hope it works well for my combo makeup loving skin!
ReplyDeleteBrandee I would absolutely love to hear how it works for you once you get it. Please keep me posted? :))
DeleteI want this so badly, but have dry skin. I might try it anyways and just apply thick cream on after. I need a good deep cleanser and this sounds too good
ReplyDeleteThis is definitely an awesome deep cleanser (for me, at least) so if that's what you're looking for, it may be worth a shot for you, even with dry skin. I would love if you let me know how it ends up working for you once you get it (if you order)!
DeleteHow does this compare with the tatcha cleansing oil? I'm in love with the tatcha one, but not sure about this one.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember. I think I received a sample of the Tatcha a while back with an order but I honestly don't remember how it worked for me (I try so many samples...I can't keep track)! What I can tell you is that the main ingredient in the DHC is olive oil, whereas the main oil in the Tatcha is rice bran oil. So perhaps google the benefits of both for skin and that can help you make a decision based on your particular skin type?
DeleteJust an update- got mine and now I'm hooked!!!! Thank you for the recs (and spending my money 😀).
DeleteJust placed my order. I have never tried this before. Fingers cross that I love this stuff :-)
ReplyDeleteMy fingers are crossed for you, Amber!! Please do let me know what you think when you get it? :)
DeleteCrap. New customers only?
ReplyDeleteYep. Maybe you can get a friend or family member to order for you? :)

DeleteIn this case I always make an account for my husband.
Deletethanks girl, I never tryed this oil. But I hear it wonderful! thank you
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome! It's my favorite. :)
DeleteI never have luck with oil make up removers but if my girls G says yes then I will too!!!
ReplyDeleteAaah, Tamiko, I appreciate so much that you have trust in me! Well just keep in mind, if you get this, that it's not a traditional makeup remover--it's a facial cleanser. The key here is to apply it with dry hands to your dry face. Take your time and work it in slowly, and you'll start to feel your makeup and mascara melt away. After you've thoroughly worked it into your skin, get your hands wet and work it in some more. You'll feel that it turns slightly milky at that point. Then it's time to rinse. It should rinse very easily at this point and your face should be sparkling clean after you towel dry. :)
DeleteBut I do want to mention that some people DO reserve it just for eye makeup removal! You basically can apply just to the eye area and after rinsing, follow up with your regular cleanser for the rest of your face. Works great that way, too! :)
Thank you for this! I just ordered it! I'm hoping it works for my combo skin, I been wanting to try cleansing oils.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered this.. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it's available by tomorrow. Do you think this is good for combo skin? I usually use purity by philosophy (really shouldn't purchase this lol cause I have 32oz bottle) But I could use Purity morning and this at night :D :D
ReplyDeleteI just ordered mine. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI signed up as new customer but is not giving me free shipping.
ReplyDeleteHey G, would you recommend using this with a clarisonic?
ReplyDeleteI snatched one up, hoping it works as good for me as it does you, G!!!
ReplyDeleteGot mine today! Tried it out and loved it, but it's like... olive oil green color (which makes sense!) but it's not that color on most images i've seen. Odd? or normal?
