New QVC Beauty 30th Birthday 7-Piece Collection
Thanks so much to reader Snazzy for this one!
QVC has just launched a new value set in honor of their 30th birthday. You can view/purchase the new QVC Beauty 30th Birtday 7-Piece Collection HERE for $96 ($240 value). Shipping is $3 on this set and it also comes with Easy Pay (5 monthly payments of $19.20).
I have broken this set down with links to each item so that you can verify the retail price of each product for yourself :
16-fl oz philosophy lemon custard shampoo, shower gel, and bubble bath
(retail: $18 at Macy's)
16-fl oz WEN Cranberry Mint Cleansing Conditioner
(this scent is unavailable elsewhere but this link will take you to Sephora where the Sweet Almond formula is $32 for 16 oz.)
1-fl oz Perricone MD Neuropeptide Night Cream
(this link will take you to the Perricone site where the 2 oz. jar retails for $290. So the 1 oz. jar in this QVC set has an estimated retail value of $145)
0.3-oz bareMinerals Mineral Veil(R) Finishing Powder
(retail: $22 at Sephora)
0.14-oz Laura Geller Color-Enriched Lipstick
(retail: $21 on the Laura Geller website)
0.08 oz TRUE Isaac Mizrahi Lip Crayon
(retail: $18 at TRUly Natural)
0.06-oz Mally Evercolor Shadow Stick
(retail: $25 at QVC)
Adding up all of the retail prices above, the total is $281. QVC says this set is valued at $240. I'm guessing that my numbers are different because QVC does not sell the Isaac Mizrahi lip crayons individually--the only sell them in a 4-piece set for $36, so they probably based the value of one pencil off the price of that set. Also, I can't find the Perricone moisturizer anywhere online in the 1-oz jar, so the retail price of that jar may be slightly different than my estimated value based on the price of the 2 oz. jar. Either way, this set is a great value for $96 if you like the products included!
PLEASE NOTE: there is no option to select shades for the color cosmetics in this set (items by bareMinerals, Laura Geller, TRUE and Mally) and there are no shades listed in the item listing. I contacted QVC and they did not have shade information available. You can zoom in on the item listing to get a better idea of the shades of the lip and eye products. And if I had to guess, I would say that the bareMinerals Mineral Veil is in the shade Original.
Thanks again for the hot tip, Snazzy!

Just an FYI. Maly was sold to another parent company and they changed the formula of the sticks. They used to be made in Italy and were amazing. Now they are made in China and they suck. I also HATE that Wen cleansing conditioner. My hair felt so greasy the first time I used it so I gave up.
ReplyDeleteI knew Mally had a new parent company but didn't know about the formula change. Thank you!
DeleteI used to love QVC. I would DVR all the beauty shows. But its become so redundant with the same brands domineering the content: Clarisonic, WEN, IT Cosmetics, Perricone and Philosophy. I also don't care for the fact that they rarely have free shipping deals. Its not like they can't afford it. I would be willing to bet that due to their extremely high volume of shipping, the carriers offer them dirt cheap rates. No thanks. I'll take my business to HSN. They seem to offer much better values to their customers.
ReplyDeleteI like both (for different reasons) but I agree about QVC when it comes to shipping. I wish they'd waive that $3 fee sometimes!
DeleteBTW, Liberty Interactive owns QVC and also a 38% share of HSN. Just in case you didn't know. :)

Evine is great too. In my opinion, I agree about QVC &HSN. HSN SENDS COUPONS TOO
ReplyDeleteI loooove HSN's coupon codes. Lol I know I post about them all the time, but as a consumer I just love that those codes can help us get such excellent deals on beauty, and the free shipping makes it such an incredible value! :)
