A few weeks ago I showed you the Sinful Colors #PRIDE collection that is now available at Walgreens stores (you can check out the display with shade info and pics HERE). But did you know that this entire collection is now available as a special gift set online, and that there's also a new Burt's Bees Pride gift set?
Here's the scoop:
The new Burt's Bees We Love Every Flavor set is now available on the Burt's Bees website HERE for $16.99 (free shipping on orders $49+).
From the Burt's Bees website:
Burt’s Bees proudly partners with GLSEN to introduce our Rainbow Pride Lip Balm Pack. There is room for everyone in our hive so this pride season we celebrate you and the LGBT community. After all, Love is Natural! #uncaplove
6 moisturizing lip balm flavors:
• Pomegranate
• Mango
• Beeswax with Vitamin E & Peppermint
• Medicated with Menthol & Eucalyptus
• Vanilla Bean
• Acai Berry
* Sold in collectible gift box
A $10,000 charitable donation will be provided to GLSEN whose mission to ensure that every member of the school community is valued and respected regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. For more information, please visit www.glsen.org.
The Sinful Colors #PRIDE Collection 8-Pack features all of the shades in the Walgreens in-store dipslay HERE (click that link for shade names and more info about these polishes). This set retails for $15.99 on the Drugstore.com website HERE (free shipping on orders $35+) and according to the Walgreens website, this set should also be available in-store at Walgreens.
From the Drugstore.com site:
This Loud & Proud Group of Polishes Stand for Much More than Manicures. Celebrating the historic victory for same-sex marriage and civil rights last year, each shade in the PRIDE Collection captures the energy and passion of freedom and love. Each bottle is Individually beautiful and unique, but together they form a rainbow – united in color!
SinfulColors professional formula is formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP free.
Made in USA
I didn't see it mentioned on the website, but I believe that just like with the individual bottles available at Walgreens stores, a portion of the proceeds for this set will go to The Trevor Project.
It's saddening that I have to include this disclaimer in my posts of this nature, but that's the world we're living in so here's a repeat of what I wrote when I initially posted about the Sinful Colors #PRIDE collection:
If anyone reading this has any objections to brands honoring the LGBTQA community with special collections, please take that up directly with the brands, and not here. I do not, and will not ever, allow intolerance of ANY kind to be expressed here on my blog, and comments of that nature will always be deleted before they will ever been seen on this blog. This is my happy, loving, welcoming, accepting little corner of the internet and I intend to keep it that. Thanks!
YES! ZOMG, are these the cutest or what? What fun gifts will these be?! (you know, to yourself! or others).
ReplyDeleteTotally agree!!
DeleteOh these sets make my heart happy. Thanks for posting them!
ReplyDeleteMine too. ❤ And you're so welcome! ☺
DeleteAw darn, I was hoping the Burt's Bees lip balm set would have special edition flavors! The box is cool though and it's for a good cause.
ReplyDeleteThat would have been nice, but like you said, it's a fantastic cause and I'm just so happy they're doing this, period! :)
DeleteHow many readers are you going to lose for this post? Thanks for posting it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to report that I've had zero negative comments come through on this post! I don't know about any lost readers, but no negativity on Instagram this time around, which is wonderful. It seems that Facebook, for some reason, is where I'm getting the brunt of the negativity (on any post of this nature).
DeleteWhat great causes they chose!
ReplyDeleteAgreed!!
DeleteThese sets are too cool. I have most of the Sinfuls I bought individually but the Burt's Bees set would be nice. Thanks for the great pics and info, G!
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, Carol! xo
DeleteI want both sets. Thank you for posting this and for your happy, loving, welcoming and accepting corner of the internet.
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome, Michelle! Thank you so much for saying that. ❤
DeleteLove it!! :)
ReplyDeleteMe too. ❤
DeleteOh my gosh, I need that Sinful Colors set! The nail art I could do with that! :D Thanks so much for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome!! That set is so fun, isn't it? :)
DeleteThese sets look wonderful and what a great message behind them, too! Thanks for sharing, G!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! :) And you're so welcome! xo
DeleteLove this post! We have an LGBT Alliance event at working coming up in June, and this would be great giveaways to those who come and support the group as we celebrate National Equality Day on June 26.
ReplyDeleteI live this post! These will be perfect as the LGBT Alliance at work celebrates National Equality Day on June 26 this year.
ReplyDeleteI love these, especially in light of all this awful HB2 business here in NC. I think Burts Bees is headquartered in Durham...I have a new respect for these guys now!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! Love them both :D
ReplyDeleteI bought some of the Sinful Colors Pride collection. Think I'll return them and order the set. That way I can get cash back through Ebates. :D
