My Weekend Beauty Hauls (Share Yours!)

Oh that Ryan. Always the enabler!

So I was good all weekend and didn't take advantage of a single deal that I posted in my Memorial Day Beauty Sale Round-Up, but then...Sunday came along and I panicked. There are so many good deals right now (most ending TODAY; check out the full list HERE), that I caved because I didn't want to miss out. So I thought I'd share with you the deals that I personally took advantage of, in case you're curious and looking to make any last-minute hauls. Please feel free to share what YOU purchased this weekend down below, because you know I always love to hear about the deals that you snag!

Macy's Sun Essentials Set ($14.99 + free shipping)
I could not resist this one because as I mentioned in my original post, just the price of the Tweezerman mini slants equals the price of the entire set. And I LOVE those tweezers.

Glossier Balm Dotcom Trio ($25 + free shipping)
The "free shipping on all orders" offer got me (ends tomorrow, 5/31). And then using code MOLLS to get $5 off your order? Yeah, I caved. I love the original Balm Dotcom and I REALLY want to try the new flavored versions. Buying this set with the $5 discount and free shipping is like buying two lip balms and getting one free (these are full-size tubes)! I might place another order before tomorrow to get the coconut one for $7 + free shipping with the code. Because I have no control when it comes to lip balm.

H&M (small beauty haul)
The free shipping on all orders offer ends today (5/30) with code 6656. I've been dying to try some products from their new beauty line, so I bought a nail polish on sale ($2.99 down from $5.99) and a few other goodies for some future reviews, including one of their lip stains.

Nordstrom (expired)
I took advantage of the B2G1FREE mascara event the other day. I won't go into details because that offer is over, but I bought two Clinique mascaras and got the Clinique GWP (which I already planned to take advantage of, but the mascara deal made my decision for me!), and then a MAC mascara I had really been wanting to try (Extended Play Gigablack Lash). I can never resist Nordstrom's 3 free samples and free shipping.

Target Beauty Boxes ($10 and $5)
Still available as of the time of this post! I always get these, no matter what. And using the $3 off $15 coupon from the May beauty box makes it a no-brainer.

What I'm still considering today:

Sigma - today only (5/30) receive 20% off all orders, including sale items, with code MEMORIAL20. Not sure what I want yet.

The Body Shop - free shipping on all orders (I don't know when that will end); I want a few little things on the sale page.

I am usually pretty good when it comes to resisting the sales I share with you here on the blog (because if I took advantage of every deal I share here, I wouldn't be able to blog anymore because I would have no electricity!). But it was hard to resist some of these deals. If you placed any orders this weekend, I would LOVE to know what you got.

MANY of this weekend's sales end TODAY (5/30) so be sure to check out my Memorial Day Beaut Sale Round-Up here for some last minute temptations.

  1. I finally bit the bullet and bought the Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky palette since it was 30% off. Placed an order with Ulta since I'm platinum I got early access to the Lorac Pro 3 palette and I ordered the two pack of the Ulta beauty sponges. Finally, I ordered two liquid liners from Sephora because I'm on the hunt for a good brown liner. One is from Tarte the other is from Stila and they were both on sale too! Also, got as a freebie the Boscia Charcoal Mattfying Setting Spray.

  2. I wasn't going to get anything because I'm poor as heck, but the HSN Visa Checkout code + flex pay made it kinda impossible to pass on the UD Alice in Wonderland palette. I know the shadows aren't all up to UD's normal quality, but the packaging sucked me in, along with only paying $35 total for it. I'm super tempted by the UD Spectrum palette on Sephora.com too, but I'm trying to hold out on that one, since I already have a few of those shadows in other palettes!

    1. Wayne Goss did a review on the UD Alice in Wonderland set. He was confused by the rumors on it. I hope it works out better than you thought. Nothing like being pleasantly surprised.

  8. I bought a few things from the 40% off Loreal sale at Rite. I combined it with manufacturer's coupons.

  9. I did both Target boxes and used the 20% off at Tarte.com so I was good.

    1. What a great idea! Next time this happens, I need to find 2 friends to do this with. Maybe I will post about it on here to see if anyone volunteers since none of my friends care as much as I do about these things, lol!

  11. The gilt city bobbi brown voucher. Bobbi brown had free shipping this weekend so I didnt want to pass it up.

  12. Just ordered the Target box and got the Macy's deal yesterday thanks to you, G! :) I need to shop my own beauty stash and declutter instead... lol. >w<

  13. I had overlooked the Sigma code...so seeing you mention it here, I went to took a look...it was news to me they had towers now for holding clean brushes upside down, in three sizes. So I got the smaller cleaning mitt, smaller mat and the middle size tower. That was $99 before 20% off with the code, free shipping over $50 and free gift (I chose a mini blending brush). And they take PayPal so I don't even have to get up for my wallet... :D

    1. Oh I also did the two Target boxes, the Zoya deal (got four of the texture polishes for $20) and Nordstrom on Friday evening when they were still price matching the Lancôme sale, so I got a few of the Juicy Shakers.

I enjoyed reading everyone else's hauls! (so thought I'd add the rest of mine). :D

      Delete
    2. You'll love the juicy shakers! I was so pleased with mine!!! Great hint of color - not too bright or vivid and sits sooooo comfy on the lips!

      Delete
    3. I actually have two of the Mint To Be, one was a gift and one I paid full price cuz I was pretty sure I'd love it and want a second one (like purse and home or upstairs and downstairs - lazy me!)

I am totally into oils like cleansing oils and now lip oils...I admit the Juicy Shaker doesn't last long on the lip, but I just love the packaging so much and the applicator. I was curious to try other 'colors' tho I know they don't put out much color, which is fine, I am not much of a lipstick/lip color person, more lipbalm.

I know some did not like color payoff erc but you're happy and I'm happy :D

  14. I bought the coconut flavor of the balm dotcom. Was tempted to get the trio but I seriously need to reign in the spending lol. So glad I waited because with the discount code and free shipping it was only $7! Whoop!!

  15. 3 MAC false lash mascaras( Norstrom deal). 2 Target boxes( used the coupon and gift code), Macy's sun set( used plenti points). Did I *need* any of those? Oh heck no. We were on vacation for 12 days and I took so many sample packets. Between both my wife and myself and my SIL who came down to FL for a few days, we probably used 20 or more skin care packets, 4 travel size toothpastes, numerous shampoo packets, 2 sheet masks( last night at the hotel), 2 half empty leave in conditioner sprays bottles and a few other random things. I felt great using up packets. I tend to hoard my samples, not sure why.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh and I didnt wear that much makeup, but I used up a bunch of sample makeup packets too. I tried the It cosmetics CC cream, a couple BB creams tubes, a mascara sample and some almost used up eye pencils I had.

    ReplyDelete
  17. I got a few nail bits and bobs from Forever21 since they were having free shipping, and snagged a tube of the coconut glossier balm. The deal was just too god to pass up!

    ReplyDelete
  18. I went to Sally and got some Palladio - green color corrector and a mascara. I also got a couple of their discontinued eye shadows for 69 cents a piece. Can't beat that!

  19. L'Occitane free shipping had me cave - the $6 shea butter gift set + free shipping (http://usa.loccitane.com/nourishing-shea-butter-gift,82,1,29193,890836.htm)

Grabbed the Macy's Prom set because it was such a good deal.

Bare Minerals - Last chance deal - "READY Eyeshadow 7.0 Work, Weekend, Wow palette" for 30% off, and then another 15% off stacked on top, making it ~9 shipped.
    http://www.bareescentuals.com/bareMinerals-READY-Eyeshadow-7.0-Work%2C-Weekend%2C-Wow/US76882,en_US,pd.html

Glossier's rose balm dotcom for $7 shipped

Target beauty boxes - both for ~$13 shipped (after the $3 off coupon)

whew! more than I thought I'd pick up. Excited to receive it all!

  20. I'm on a pretty strict beauty budget this year (blah), so I've been pretty good at resisting deals. However, I was all about polish this weekend. I did the ZOYA bogo special for a couple bottles from their summer collection & grabbed some of the Loreal pink collection polishes at Rite Aid 40% off.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I did more clothing shopping than beauty shopping, since I haven't updated my wardrobe in awhile and wanted to treat myself to some more current pieces to my summer wardrobe. But I did hop on the Glossier deal since I have been wanting to try the Boy Brow and Balmdotcom. I was also able to snag the ABH lipgloss set last week for $20 but still waiting on it to come in.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Oh and the Amazon box, thanks to you!! I am super excited about that purchase :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thank you for the tipoff about Glossier! I got the exact same lip balms just now.

  25. I kind of went nuts. I did a Nordstrom's orders (one to get the free mascara with the Clinique GWP). I also did two direct from Lancome because of their deals and the big promo bag which is huge. I did an Ulta and a Beauty Brands, as well as the Bare Minerals one, which is a steal. Items were already on sale, like a palette for $13.99 (I bought two) and then another 30% off and free shipping. So I got 6 items for $42.00. My Visa is tired.

  26. Alice urban decay all the way! Thank you! Awesome deal.

  27. So far, the beauty blender dupe from H&M and two Glossier orders (the rosewater mist, moisturizing moon mask, and mint lip balm). Still considering something from dermstore and some sheet masks from Leaders.

  28. Hey beautiful ladies on this site! I suffer your same addiction but I need some advice. First, I have a set of brushes from Sephora plus a few that inevitably come with Ipsy or Birchbox. Is there a way to learn how to use these? I did have a Bare Escentuals lady show me how to use that weird brush for the Bare Serum foundation, but that's about it. I want to experiment with contouring but I'm afraid I'll go too heavy with the color. Any suggestions appreciated.

Also, if anyone wants to sell a EM Michelle Phan eye pencil (with smudger on one end, I'm looking for green or blue). Thanks!

    1. I might have a green one. It's yours for free.

    2. U might look for some you tube videos. That's how I learned about brushes and what kinds I wanted and needed. I only used a brush for blush bout three yrs ago. Then I discovered You Tube and Instagram and blogs. Beauty communities. Etc. I have learned more in these last yrs then I ever did the more than 30yrs of wearing makeup. Makeup Geek Marlena is a Great teacher I know she shows how to put together shadows. I don't know about brushes. But do a search I bet there r several. I don't have any friends into makeup like I am and just moved away from everybody. So I had some time to learn and found a whole new World of Beauty and fell in love even worse with makeup. Lol. Good Luck. Hope that's helps a little.

  29. Oh, and the Target beauty box (duh). Side note: I can't believe as of 7:55on PST they're still available!

  30. I resisted everything but then you posted about Macy's Sun Essentials Set and I caved real quick. Not beauty related but I also got some shorts & a top from Old Navy.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I was good until today. That's when I dropped the ball. I got both of the Target boxes, the Macy's sunkit, a big order of nail polishes from ILNP with 25% off coupon, a ZOYA order for their b1g1f. Also non beauty related two shirts from Saks, and sunglasses for me and husband. I am hiding my card cause today has been crazy.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I went to kohls with my $10 off $25 and bought two real technique sponges, RT setting brush and Essie polish for $17. Then I bought the gal's Target beauty box. Great weekend for light yet essential beauty buys.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I caved on Sephora's Ultimate Travel Bag with HOTVIB; also got 2 BBW 3-wick candles
that was BOGO free. Non-beauty related - got 3 pairs of C9 sunglasses from Target since they are 30% (2 for hubby and 1 for me), then a camera backpack for hubby's upcoming bday and 2 Lugs kids travel pillow + blanket set, all with 20%.

I wanted to try Carol's Daughter but they ran out of Black Vanilla Body Set. Contemplating on Macy's deal but I have a lot of sample sunscreens I need to use up first ...

    ReplyDelete
  34. I did an e.l.f haul (mainly to try out the contour palette & the illuminating palette) and a few other brands that I wanted to try out. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. i also got the both target boxes, and macys summer kit. I bought a thing or two at colourpop for the eyeshadow :/

    ReplyDelete
  36. I bought the Sephora UD spectrum pallet, then latter Jaclyn Hill face palette was available and rush to get, I got the Em cosmetic play palette for $20 and the Lorac 3 palette. Like I really need more eye shadows!!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I took advantage of the Ulta deal. Got two Mont Blanc Legend body sprays for my son and the China Glaze Let's Jam to get me to free shipping. I also got a GWP of a collapsible tote for the body sprays.

I did a small sale at Zoya - Liv and Dixie from the new Sunset collection.

  38. I am on a shopping ban... But! I ordered the glossier lip balm! Been wanting to try it forever and couldn't justify spending $30 to get free shipping so I was so happy when they had offered that!!! I also caved and bought a Clinique toner to get the serum for free! I can't even believe how great of a deal that was. I was able to resist the other deals but man! That was so hard! So many great sales!!!!! Thanks for all of your hard work!

    ReplyDelete
  39. I didn't really haul based on the deals posted here...but, I found some Stila and Bare Minerals at the Marshall's by my work (Bare Minerals Ready 8.0 Power Neutrals palette and blush balm, Stila Magnificient Metals lip glosses and the loose powders that came in the packaging that you turned to grind up the powder). I also wanted to take advantage of the 2x/3x points from Ulta so I got the Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave and Stila Perfect Me, Perfect Hue (in Fair/Light) palettes. They both swatch amazingly so I can't wait to play with them!! I got a few new clothes too.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I bought

The Target boxes, used my coupon so the price came down to $13.00.

From Ulta- the Lorac Pro 3 palette (Being platinum has its perks!).

From Costco- a new pair of eyeglasses- this is where most of my 'beauty' money went. It's sad when real life interferes with beauty shopping! :)

From my local Stop and Shop- gluten free foods. They were having a month long sale on certain gluten free items in honor of May being Celiac Awareness Month so I got some GF flours, mixes and treats. While not technically beauty related, I believe that true beauty also incorporates diet and nutrition so this will help me in the long run (as I am gluten intolerant).

  42. I caved and made a few Memorial Day purchases...
I look advantage of the BH Cosmetics sale bc I have been dying to buy the foil shadow palette but I am a total cheap skate when it comes to shipping costs. I also bought the Shaaanxo palette since it looks nice and has gotten some good reviews.
I also made my way to the Colour Pop site, stood in a virtual line and purchased some super shock shadows and matte x lippies that I've been eyeing. PLUS, I got a FREE shadow w/ their Birthday promotion.
Lastly, and kinda unrelated, I made a few purchases via ShopMissA. I am completely addicted to that site and I don't know if that's such a bad thing. Anyway, I'm excited about my purchases. Now, my only problems are being the 1st to get the mail and figuring out where to store everything!

  43. I worked Thursday through Monday yet I managed to do some major damage! It started Thursday night with Velvet 59's Lotus palette. Then I cashed in 2000 points at Ulta and got UD XX, 3 sample hair kits, S Factor shampoo/conditioner for $10 and 2 RT Bold Metal brushes, all for FREE! I also bought IHERB's RT eyebrushes for $4.49, BH Cosmetics ShaanaXOXOX and Pride, Prejudice & Zombies palette, Lunatick Labs pressed powder and custom coffin eye shadow palettes,City Color polka dot blushes, eye shadows and other misc items. Finally, I caved to Sephora's triple GWP and bought Tarte's Maracuja blush and glow and Tarte's oil and I did the BBB and P&G gift card purchase with a fistful of coupons and bought two Covergirl mascaras, four Venus razors, two Nice-n-Easy box colors and Herbal Essences shampoo/conditioner (essentially all for $10.00).

  44. Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser
Lorac Pro 3 palette from Ulta's early release
ColourPop Ultra Satin in Dopey and MatteX in Cami so got the free shadow. (Didn't really care about the shadow, but I had been waiting for Dopey to come back in stock.)
Not memorial day sale exactly, but I also grabbed the Becca X Jaclyn Hill eye shadow palette. Had already gotten the face palette during the early release.

I think I'm done for a while but may pick up the Grav3yardGirl X Tarte palette next week. :D
