So if this is your jam, you have plenty of new goodies from which to choose. If this isn't your jam, then just hold on because like all other trends, this one will eventually fall out of vogue (again) due to market saturation, and some other trend will take its place. Hashtag: thecycleoflife.
But I digress...

Are you a 2-in-1, double duty, double-ended beauty product kind of person? If so, are you happy that this trend is back again?
I made an order earlier today- I'm so excited to try it!
ReplyDeleteI do like these types of products. I remember back in the 80s having dual-ended eyeliners. I think they were from Wet n Wild or Artmatic. Maybe Cover Girl, too. As you said, the cycle of life. It's fun to see things from my youth become popular again (when are the clangy, fluorescent bangles coming back).
ReplyDeleteI actually have some of my mom's old acrylic bangles from when she was in college (looooong time ago). I wear them now!
DeleteI'm confused how you're supposed to use the cheek/lip duo on your cheeks? The pencil seems very awkward for a cheek application.
ReplyDeleteDab several small lines on your cheek and blend out

ReplyDeleteive never been the biggest fan of double ended products, especially brushes. im an out of sight, out of mind person, so sticking one end in a cup means i will almost definitely forget about it. i have been meaning to try nudestix. i remember i always thought the mark sticks were so cool because they were interchangeable!! does anyone remember mark, are they still around???
ReplyDeleteI do! I was a rep for awhile, for the 20% discount mostly lol! First they got absorbed by Avon and carried stuff in their catalogs etc., then apparently went out of business entirely because they aren't around and haven't for awhile. Not sure why, one day I went to log in and poof, gone. They probably sent some notice about this I obviously missed. Which is a bummmer, they had a lot of good stuff at reasonable prices.
Deletemark is still around! I follow them on Instagram and they still have a page on the Avon website below (makeup, fragrance, etc.):

I dislike dual ended pencils because I have a tough enough time keeping the caps on one side, much less two (looking at you, UD Naked eyeliners!)
