The Lipstick League Question of the Week
Name one of your favorite beauty discoveries of 2015.
G's answer: I would call this a "rediscovery" actually, but this year I fell back in love with Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioning Treatment. I used to use this product back in the day, but in 2015 I revisited it and it has once again become my Holy Grail conditioner. It's old school, dirt cheap, and it WORKS. I really does work wonders for my fine, long, naturally wavy hair, which is prone to tangling and dryness on the ends (I have oily roots). If you haven't used it in years, I think it's worth revisiting.

MAC Pro Longwear concealer! I can't believe it took me to long to get it. I've wasted so much money and concealers that just don't work. I guess I just thought it was too hyped.
ReplyDeleteArgh! I ALMOST ordered that during the Belk sale yesterday but opted to revisit Studio Fix powder foundation instead (I used to use it back in the day but moved on to other things, so I wanted to try it again with the $10 off). Ah well. I'll try that concealer one of these days! :)
DeleteI have hereditary dark circles and NOTHING conceals them as well as that stuff.
DeleteMine is one rediscovery ❤️ the other is new and I am late to the game....after a couple of years of 'you tube made me buy it's' I went back to my HG Bare Minerals powder foundation. It is totally non reactive on my skin and it makes me glow. Number two is the Balm Mary Lumnizer...can't do my make up without it...and it looks like it's going to be awhile before I use it up! So it's a great deal!
ReplyDeleteThose new Jergens in shower body lotions are really great. I do have to wash the residue off my hands with some soap because I wear contacts.
ReplyDeleteAlmay TLC foundation is my favorite discovery ! I can't believe more people don't talk about this gem in the drugstore. The color range is not the most extensive BUT the formula, coverage and wear is AMAZING !!!! I also love to highlight with the lighter foundations.
ReplyDeleteI think I actually have 2 Urban Decay eye primer, and Kat Von D Tattoo'd eye liner. However I just bought the new Wet and Wild eye liner. It's in a pen and can I say "dupe" for the Kat Von D?! The tip is just a tad more firm.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I do love the Aussie conditioner. I haven't used it much lately but I think I'll have to as my hair gets a bit longer. That stuff is totally worth the money and then some.
ReplyDeleteHappy discoveries: I really like the Rimmel BB cream to boost radiance (with the orange cap). It covers really well and matches my skin almost to perfection and I don't sweat it off.
I'm really loving the new Revlon liquid matte lipsticks. I've only gotten one color, but I've never loved a product that I apply with a wand so much. I actually love it enough to remember that I have it, which is rare for me.
Marc Jacobs gel eyeliner. I have very watery eyes and I wear contacts and this is the first eyeliner that I have tried that does not run or make my eyes water. It stays put and the black eyeliner is really black and stays that way after you apply it.
ReplyDeleteG, are you still cowashing?
