In response to requests from fans, Carmex has brought back a long-ago discontinued flavor for Holiday 2015, and they've also given us two ways to save on a purchase.
Here's the scoop:
Rolling out now and available until supplies last, the NEW Limited-Edition Carmex® Winter Mint Lip Balm Click Stick combines the invigorating freshness of winter with a kiss of mint and comes in convenient click sticks that glide on lips easily.
“Many years ago Carmex offered a Mint flavor and we still get requests via hand written letters and social media comments from our loyal consumers asking the brand to bring this flavor back,” stated Jona Mancuso, Marketing Director for the Carmex® brand. “We’ve listened to those consumers and are excited to offer Winter Mint as a seasonal flavor this winter.”
Carmex® Winter Mint Lip Balm Click Sticks are available to consumers as part of specially marked two-pack BOGO (Buy-One-Get-One-Free) promotion and four-pack B3G1 (Buy-Three-Get-One-Free) promotion, giving Carmex® fans the chance to stock up just in time for the winter season. Both of these offers combine the best-selling Carmex® Original Lip Balm Click Stick or Carmex® Original Lip Balm Tube with a bonus Winter Mint seasonal stick.
The specially marked packages will be available at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and other fine retailers (suggested retail price of $1.59 - $4.29). No coupons are needed to enjoy these offers. For more information or to find a retailer near you, please visit: www.mycarmex.com.
Do you remember the mint flavored Carmex from back in the day? If so, are you happy to see it back for a limited time this holiday season?
thank you
ReplyDeleteI will look for the Click Stick for some reason they are hard to find
You're so welcome! I always seem to have the best luck at Walgreens when it comes to the Click Sticks (in the lip balm section in the cold/flu area). Hope you find them soon! :)
DeleteOooh!!! I am one of those people who contacted them when Mint Carmex disappeared. I stocked up via eBay at the time. Thanks for sharing as I am sure I will love Winter Mint just as much, will be on the lookout!!!
ReplyDeleteOh yay!! You'll have to come back after you get it and confirm if it's identical, if that's ok? I don't remember the original Mint but based on the wording of this press release, I believe Winter Mint should be the same! :)
DeleteI'm going to Milwaukee next month. I'm going to look at target or Walmart for other products since Carmex is made there.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your trip! I bet things will be really easy to find while you're there! :)
DeleteCan anyone tell me if this is more peppermint or spearmint? Spearmint scents give me an instant headache, but I love this if it is a true peppermint.
ReplyDeleteI am a recent Carmex fan, when they came out with Pomegranate. I can't wait to try Winter Mint for the first time! I have been waiting and waiting for them to come out with new flavors. I hope they bring out something else new that is permanent
ReplyDeleteMint Carmex was my fave!!! Time to hunt this one down!!
ReplyDeleteI was just in Walmart tonight and totally forget to look for this.
ReplyDeleteDid anyone ever see these? I have yet to see them anywhere...drugstores, Wal-Mart or Target... :-\
ReplyDeleteFinally saw the 4 pack at Walgreens...was beginning to wonder if really existed! Lol!
