Sephora Favorites Draw the Line Eyeliner Sampler for 2015
(retail: $30; $88 value)
Keep reading for a closer look at this set...
- 0.007 oz Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (deluxe sample)
- 0.028 oz Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear in Black Lace (deluxe sample)
- 0.01 oz Smashbox Cosmetics Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner in Sumatra (FULL SIZE)
- 0.01 oz Stila Cosmetics Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Stingray (FULL SIZE)
- 0.034 oz Tarte lights, camera lashes precision longwear eyeliner in Black (FULL SIZE)
- 0.03 oz Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Vice (deluxe sample)
There are three full-size liners here, so let's break down the price of those:
- Smashbox Cosmetics Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner in Sumatra ($20 at Sephora)
- Stila Cosmetics Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Stingray ($22 at Sephora)
- Tarte lights, camera lashes precision longwear eyeliner in Black ($20 at Sephora)
So JUST the three full-size liners in this set add up to $62. Given that the retail price of this set is $30 (just like last year's set), that's a very nice deal, right? I believe that there are TWO repeats here when compared to last year's set (the Sephora Collection liner and the KVD liner in Trooper). Everything else is new to this set.
@judycyang also kindly shared a pic of the back of the box, which includes ingredients for all of the liners:

Are you a fan of the Draw the Line samplers? Did you get last year's (or the one from 2013)? Think you'll get this year's set? Again, this is available now both in-store and online at Sephora.
Thanks again, @judycyang, for the great info and pics. I really appreciate it!
I really want to get this. I agree that it's a great deal but I'm not too savy when it comes to precision lines. Thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteIf you're trying to get the hang of precision liners, I highly, highly, highly recommend this one:

It is sooooo easy to control and a great way to build up your skills. Hope that helps!! :)
I've wondered about that eyeliner. Is it easy to use even in your left hand?
DeleteI just know I will get this! Why stop now? Thanks for the lemming!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite thing to pick up as a treat. I've found a few eyeliner loves from those boxes!
ReplyDeleteJust a tip on getting a precision eyeliner line, I use a 12x magnifying mirror which has been a godsend for eyeliner!
