A few weeks ago I shared some info about the new Class Act collection now popping up at Walgreens, Rite Aid and Kmart. The Class Act collection contains three sub-collections: Chalkboard Diaries, Play It Cool, and All-Nighter. And today, I have swatches of six of the nine new shades in the Chalkboard Diaries collection, thanks to reader Nic (@loving_lacquer on Instagram).

Nic applied two coats for each of these swatches, and no top coat. She said that all of the polishes dry to a demi-matte/satin finish, and she had no formula issues with any of these shades. Again, Nic confirmed that the two shades on the right--Hazed and RADiant--both have a jelly finish, while the other four shades are cremes.
Have you spotted this collection in your area yet? Do you already own any of these shades? I feel like I haven't purchased any Sinfuls in forever...time to change that since you know I'm a sucker for jellies!

DeleteNot sure if my comment was posted. Weirdness on my tablet. Could you explain how a polish can have both a jelly and a demi-matte finish at the same time? This means don't use a topcoat, correct?
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy to explain! A jelly can be shiny, matte, satin, etc. Jelly is in reference to it being translucent or "jelly-like" as opposed to being opaque (like a creme). You can put a matte top coat on a jelly polish and it will still have that translucency. Hope that makes sense? :)

ReplyDeleteI was so excited about these. I couldn't even wait for pr samples - I bought A-Crush & Chalk it Up - big big fan of the demi-matte finish. Two thumbs up from this girl.
