The Lipstick League Question of the Week
What’s your current favorite nail trend?
G's answer: My favorite nail trend has been the same for a few years now. I LOVE negative space manicures and I'm so happy that this trend doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. In fact, I keep seeing more and more cool ways to use negative space these days! You know, I just did a search on my blog and I can't believe the last time I did a negative space mani was in this Jordana nail polish post (a negative space dotticure). And I still love the negative space dotticure I did back in 2013 using all Sinful Colors polishes. I really need to do another one, STAT.

I like to paint my ring fingers a complimentary color to the color that's on the rest if my fingers and I love glitter topcoats.
ReplyDeleteI love accent nails too! (And glitter top coats) :)
DeleteI have no idea if it's a trend, but I'm loving contrasting glitter tips lately.. like a french but with glitter. Easy, doesn't require any of the precision of a regular french, gives bling without having to deal with as much glitter at removal time, hides tip wear.
ReplyDeleteAh I totally forgot about doing negative space manicures! I just painted my nails clear for a concert and I was looking for an easy and quick way to make them more fun. The dots are perfect!
ReplyDeleteI still like an accent nail, or an ombre look. Negative space is cool, too. I want to do a negative space look, but my nails are a bit stained from wearing polish so much, even though I use base coats.
ReplyDeleteMAC is a cruel company? Oh dear....
