Tomorrow (4/11) from 11AM to 2PM, you can take any animal hair makeup brush you may have lying around to the San Diego Humane Society (San Diego Campus in Mission Valley) and trade it in for a brand new LAB2 brush kit (pictured above).
From the LAB2 Instagram page:
Get your hands on these brushes! Bring one of your makeup brushes made from animal hair to the @sdhumanesociety THIS SATURDAY, trade it in and we'll give you a vegan, cruelty-free I'm Turning Pro Kit! We'll be there playing with pups and raising awareness for Animal Cruelty Prevention Month from 11-2 - hope to see you there!
If you're unfamiliar with LAB2, they're a relatively new brand that can be purchased exclusively at Walmart and via the LAB2 website. I love that they're doing this, and it makes me want to try their brushes even more! Do you already own any LAB2 brushes? I'd love to hear from you!
oooh I like that trade in concept
ReplyDeleteThey should do that everywhere. That is a great idea. I don't have any but if I did and lived there I would be there. They should start a mail in program also. But that would be a huge task to take on. Maybe it will spread around the country more and more companies get involved to help with costs of the new brushes. I could see it all working to the better of man kind I mean animal kind.
ReplyDeleteI could look at my brushes right now and not know which ones( except my MAC) are animal hair.
