Once again, thanks to longtime photo contributor Fatima for this sighting. Fatima (@th0timaon Instagram) spotted this display at her local Harmon this week and kindly share some pics:

I don't have any photos of the Master Graphic Eyeliner in the display, but you can see by the display pic that it's a jumbo felt-tip liner with a sharp, slanted edge. It comes in one shade (black). This liner was released in the UK in the fall of this year, so here's a pic from the Superdrug site:

Maybelline Master Graphic Eyeliner
I believe this is the first jumbo felt-tip liner that Maybelline has released. Since Maybelline is owned by L'Oreal, I'm wondering how this formula will compare to the jumbo felt-tip eyeliner that L'Oreal released last year. Obviously the felt-tip applicator is different since the L'Oreal version has a pointed tip, whereas this one is slanted. After doing some searching, I found two UK reviews for Master Graphic HERE and HERE, and I'm afraid they're not so favorable. But I'm such a felt-tip liner junkie, I'm sure I'll end up trying it anyway when I can find it on sale at one of the drugstores.
Moving on to the shadows:

We've been seeing a lot of "cream powder" shadow hybrids lately at the drugstores, right? Almay Shadow Softies, Milani Bella Eyes, and more recently we've seen new releases like the Physicians Formula Gel Cream Shadow Liners. And I'm sure we'll see even more over the next few months!

302 Midnight Morph, 304 Sapphire Mist, 306 Rose Haze,
301 Taupe Craze, 300 Nude Rush, 302 Endless Mocha
I like that there is a nice assortment of neutrals here. I'm not sure how many other shades are in this range, but I know that at least ONE is missing from this pic and that is shade 305, since there's a 304 and a 306 pictured above.
Fatima told me that she purchased one of these and that the texture is similar to the Almay Shadow Softies (click here for my review) and that the pigmentation of the one she purchased was also like the Shadow Softies (sheer). I will most definitely pick some of these up and review them for you when I find them--I hope they're not all sheer!
By the way, I found this Amazon listing that includes the full list of ingredients, in case you'd to see it. Also, the description in the Amazon listing is reads: "Cream-powder texture lets colors blend seamlessly for a refined, lustrous finish."
Have you spotted these new Maybelline eye products in your area yet? Thoughts?
Thanks again, Fatima, for all of the great sightings and pics today. I really appreciate it!
The duo-shades remind me of the L'Oreal HIP eyeshadow compacts.
ReplyDeleteI hope these new eyeliner markers will come out with a formula that is actually waterproof, since I find all "waterproof" stuff just slides off of my oily skin.
I tried the L'Oreal liner a returned it immediately. It lasted less than a half hour on me. I don't have oily eyelids at all but it just disappeared. So I don't think I will be trying this new one anytime soon. I would be interested in a review G. If you do buy it
ReplyDeleteI did not like the Almay Shadow Softies at all so I don't have high hopes for these. I look forward to your review. Hopefully they're more like the Milani Bella Shadows because those are amazing!
ReplyDeleteMight have to try endless mocha for my brows!
ReplyDeleteThese are not very good. Pigmentation is definitely lacking. And they are overly soft. Softer than the Almay Shadow Softies
