I'm posting this because I want it to serve as a reminder to always,
always check the clearance aisle at your local Walgreens, every time you go (that goes for the clearance aisles at Target, Rite Aid and CVS too, if your stores have clearance sections). The products that are put on clearance in those special sections aren't always beauty-related, and the inventory can vary wildly from store to store, but sometimes you can strike gold:
The other day, I snagged Sinful Colors
Cool Leather (one of the limited edition leather-finish polishes from the
Fall 2013 Leather Luxe Collection) and Essie
Mesmerized (core shade)
for a whopping $2.50 TOTAL. As you know, the full retail value of these two polishes combined is $10. Score!
Don't forget to comb the clearance sections, lovelies! You never know what you might find.

ReplyDeleteI'm with you, G, I always check the clearance every time at Wags. Also, different locations have different items on clearance. I recently got small, travel size sunscreen for a quarter! Perfect to stick in the car...Love clearance sections!
ReplyDeleteAt my favorite Walgreens they keep all the clearance nail polish in a basket on the counter so you just have to dig through it for the deals.

ReplyDeleteI recently picked up 2 full sized Essie nail polishes in Raspberry and Damsel in a Dress. I also found a small set of 2 mini Essie polishes (Wicked and Ballet Slippers) with a nail filer. All of these were 9 dollars!
