CVS Beauty Clearance Sale Update

I know I said I wasn't going to do a blog post every time I do an update to the CVS Beauty Clearance master list, but I wanted to let you know that I found a TON of products at CVS today that I just added to the list, AND several of you left some incredibly helpful comments on the master list post, so I added those comments to the list as well. I cannot thank you enough for leaving comments on that post--I know it is incredibly time consuming and tedious to jot down info in-store and then leave it in the comments here, so I want to give an extra special thank-you to everyone who has contributed to this list here on the blog. YOU ROCK, and you are helping so many of us!

I also want to let you know that I've spotted a ton of additional CVS clearance items simply by searching the #cvsclearance tag on Instagram. I have NOT added those products to the master list yet, but I will do that first thing in the morning. In the meantime, if you're on Instagram I highly recommend searching #cvsclearance and taking a look at all of the haul pics (there are many) for things I haven't added to the list yet.

I'll also be posting my own personal CVS Beauty Clearance haul pics tomorrow here on the blog (and some suggestions as to my personal favorite products that are now on clearance), plus some updates to the Walgreens and Rite Aid beauty clearance sales that are underway as well!

Thanks for your patience, and happy clearance shopping!

  1. Hi G, I just checked out one of the CVS here in Minneapolis and they only had selected items on "Buy-1-get-2nd item-50%off" (e.g. neutrogena, revlon, maybelline). I even asked the sales person behind the counter and they said that's all the beauty sales they have at the moment :(

    1. Did you actually try scanning anything on my list, like I suggested?

    2. i'm not the original poster, but i had the same issue at two CVS's I go to. No products had 50% or 75% off stickers at all. I pulled a few items from the list you have, and scanned them all. The ones that are supposed to be 50% off still scanned full price. The ones that are supposed to be 75% off did scan as 75% off.

    3. I found a lot of thing on sale you have to scan them in the red box to see if they are on sale. I live in Puerto Rico and this list help me a lot so thank you G for let me know about this sales.

    4. Sal I did the exact same thing. I went into a local (northwest Indiana) CVS and saw no stickers and only the tags for the items that were on sale this week. I scanned in a couple of things off the list and they came up at their regular prices.

I'm beginning to believe that CVS has "selective" sales practices and it's quite infuriating.

  2. G, thanks so much for all your hard work! You've saved me a ton of money that I've spent on cool stuff I wouldn't have known about without your blog :-) Proud to be a Nouvette!

    2. It has before, so it would surprise me if it doesn't.

    3. Blah, blah blog: I'm with Heidi and Amanda N here--it has ALWAYS counted in the past. Did someone from CVS actually tell you that it's not going to count any longer??

  5. Awesome list. All CVS's incorporate these discounts on their own time, don't they, but roughly around this time of year? The first CVS I went to had no discounted items (even I was checking the scanner) but the second one was a bonanza.

  6. The cvs in my town has lazy employees.... NOTHING was labeled. I scanned like you suggested...And bingo! I'm super happy that I got a backup of the nearly naked foundation I'm my color for under three dollars.

  7. I picked up quite a few things today and looked like a crazy person grabbing things and running to the scanner while reading my iPhone to make sure I wasn't missing anything I wanted :) Glad I went when my CVS wasn't too busy! I can't wait to try the Milani blush in Fantastico Mauve - I have Rose d'Oro and LOVE it!!! Thanks for all of your hard work putting this list together!

  8. The CVS in South Austin (by Brodie/Slaughter) didn't have much show up on scanner. Just the NYC mascara, the regular Revlon blush (not the photoready), and the colorstay cream shadow sticks. All else was ringing up full price. Will check anyone one and report back.

  9. Went to CVS today and was very thankful that I had read your list. I got two CG Trueblend foundations for 50%, Revlon Just Kissable Lip Stain in Midnight for 75% and two Rimmel nail polishes ( Hot Cocoa and English Rose) for 75%. They took a $2.00 coupon for the Rimmel that I got there a few weeks ago which made the polish about 24 cents for two. I also had a $1.00 coupon for CG which made my foundations about $2.00 apiece!! Very excited though a bit worried that my foundation appears to be heading for discontinuation. But, I am stocked for awhile at least.

  11. I went to the CVS by work today and got 3 Lip Smackers lip balms (vanilla, watermelon & Dr. Pepper) for 59 cents each and Wet N Wild Fast Dry polish in Sagreena the Teenage With for 99 cents. The Fast Dry polishes aren't part of the Buy one get one 50% off sale, but it would've been awesome if they were. I'm going to check out the other CVS on Tuesday.
