Spotted: Maybelline Limited Edition Volum' Express The Colossal Smoky Eyes Mascara Collection

Great news for those of you who liked the limited edition Maybelline Great Lash blue mascara but didn't care for the Great Lash formula! Reader Natalie (house_kitten on Instagram) spotted the new Limited Edition Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Smoky Eyes Mascara display the other day, and there's a blue in this collection too. Take a look:

Maybelline Colossal Smoky Eyes Mascara in

Blackest Smoke, Blue Blaze, Scorching Brown

I believe that the Master Smoky Longwearing Shadow Pencils in this display are repromotes (they look like Black Smoke, Blue Blaze and Scorching Brown, which are all permanent and on the Maybelline website here). But I could be wrong since I don't recall the packaging on the Shadow Pencils to be anything but black, regardless of the shade. So either these are new shades, or they're existing shades in special, limited edition packaging (or maybe Maybelline changed the packaging on the permanent shades?).

Back the mascaras: This limited edition "smoky" formula has been in the UK for some time now, and you can see a review of it here (Blackest Smoke really appears to look "smoky" on the eye).  Also, Natalie purchased this mascara in Blue Blaze and compared it to the limited edition Rimmel Extra Pop Lash Mascara in Pop Turquoise. As a huge fan of the regular Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal washable mascara, I'm really excited to try this one. As soon as I find the display, I'll be sure to grab one and review it. In the meantime, have you spotted this collection in your area yet? Thoughts?
