It's baaaack! Ulta's annual 21 Days of Beauty event starts tomorrow (Sunday, 9/8) and runs through September 28th.
For those new to this event, every day for 21 days, Ulta offers at least one Beauty Steal per day that you can take advantage of either online or in-store. These special prices only last for ONE DAY and the limit is 2 per customer (for example, Butter LONDON polishes will be $10 each on Day 7, which means you can buy 2 polishes at that price on that day). Also, on certain days, there are special online-only Beauty Steals in addition to the other daily Beauty Steals (on Day 5, the online only Beauty Steal is 25% off Real Techniques brushes). The Beauty Steals are based on Central Time, in case you're an online shopper and are wondering when the deals start and end.

The fine print (from the Ulta website:):
*Based on Central Time. While quantities last. No rain checks. 2 per customer. Beauty Steals are for 1 day only. Free or 50% off item must be of equal or lesser value to the lowest-priced item purchased. Excludes trial sizes. Brands cannot be combined.
If this is not your first time shopping the 21 Days of Beauty event at Ulta, I would love to know what you think of this year's deals, and how you think they compare to past deals. Is there anything in particular that you've got your eye on this time around?
PS: If you're going to try to score these deals in-store, I STRONGLY advise you to get to your Ulta as early as you can on the day of the deal you want to take advantage of, because things DO sell out quickly.
I think this years comparison of deals is a little weak. I mean there's literally a few products I'm interested in and one that I'll actually be buying. For example I remember the butter London nail polishes either being bogo free of 50% and this time they're a little more. But overall there are great deals but not the best that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mrs. B, this is some weak sauce faux-sale. Tempted by the Cargo ... but Butter London is not that cheap.
ReplyDeleteYes I'm definitely picking up the cargo palette.
DeleteOMG I'm out of TF Primed and Poreless. Can't wait for the 50% deal!! Question, if it does NOT specify "online only deal" does that mean the deal is available BOTH online and in store? I am new to the 21 days of beauty events so I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteYes the deals are all online and in stores.
DeleteI'm waiting for the Pur CC cream at 1/2 off. I love the stuff! Passing on everything else. Stacie xo
ReplyDeleteHow is the coverage of it? Would you say that it's good for dry skin?
DeleteAgreed! This is the 2nd time that Butter London is NOT BOGO50%.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I don't know if I'm going to get anything at all.
I am a little disapointed with this sale. The only thing that might tempt me is the Cargo palette, but I haven't seen it in person yet, so even that's a little iffy. All in all underwhelming. I'll be happier with the next 20% off anything coupon.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if you can use the $3.50 off $10 coupon with the sale items?
ReplyDeleteGenerally, yes, you can but it's reserved for the "drug store" items not the "prestige" items. The way it works is you have to purchase a total of $10 of *non-prestige* items and then you get your discount, including sale items. You would be able to use this on $10 of Ulta brand cosmetics, but NOT a $29.99 purchase that was $20 of Lorac or Paul Mitchell products and $9.99 worth of Ulta and John Freida products. That part gets me *every* time!
DeleteI think the Cargo palette's a huge steal. $20 > $140 in my book lol
ReplyDeleteMe too! That's the one item I'm going after. :D
Deletefor sure be stocking up on butter london nail polishes and too faced primers! thanks!
ReplyDeleteI just looked on the Cargo website for the palette and it shows a retail of $39. May be a typo on Ulta's part.
ReplyDeleteDoes the online deal usually start at mid-night?
