A huge thanks to reader Annette for her comment on the blog today. Annette is the first reader to have spotted the Wet n Wild Limited Edition Summer 2013 Pop Art Craze eyeshadow trios and also the Pop Art Craze nail polishes. Annette found both displays at her local Fred Meyer in Oregon! This is not surprising to me, since Fred Meyer (Pacific Northwest) seems to get many limited edition collections before the rest of the country!
I'll be sure to create an interactive sightings map for the Pop Art Craze collections this week, so we can track our sightings. Thanks so much, Annette, for letting us know they've landed!
Dang I wish we had a Fred Meyer in Socal!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some example looks with some of the palettes G. since you already have them. I'm terribly undecided on these not sure about those bright colors. Sometimes they look different on the eye though.
ReplyDeleteWah! always fred meyers! *kicks ground*
ReplyDeleteYeah! Let the hunt begin! Glad to hear you're starting a sighting map...:D
ReplyDeleteI have been checking daily for these at my local Walgreens. I hope we get them soon.
ReplyDeleteGAH! I want them so bad! They need to hurry up and come to Texas!
ReplyDeleteWell then... Glad I bought it off eBay when I did, because I never once saw it (or really, any WnW limited edition eye collection. Ever). Oh well ~ Good luck to those who didn't score the first time around.
ReplyDeleteMe and Anette need to become buddies. :) Oregon girls for the win!
ReplyDeleteI never have a chance to purchase any of their collection, since it's always sold out by the time I get to them ughh!!!
ReplyDeleteI found them in San Diego, CA at my local Rite Aid in Rancho Penasquitos on Black Mountain Road if you live around that area!
ReplyDeleteYes!! A Rite Aid sighting!!! Thank you sooo much for letting us know! *waves to you in SD* (btw how weird is the weather here today??)
ReplyDeleteRuns to local Fred Meyers! xD I hope they have them at my store!
ReplyDeleteI just picked up 4 of the 6 today at Rite Aid in Los Angeles. I'm going to pick up the last two tomorrow. I definitely got the ones I most wanted. I also say the LE 8 palettes. Both were full (well until I picked mine) and looked like they were just set out.
ReplyDeleteHi can u please tell me the streets of that rite aid
DeleteI bought them this morning (7/11/13) in Salt Lake City, UT. I stopped at my Rite Aid and Walgreens yesterday and nothing so this morning I went to Smith's Marketplace (affiliated with Fred Meyer) and they had the nail polish and eyeshadow. If you're in Salt Lake head to the Smith's Marketplace (not the regular Smith's grocery store) in West Jordan at 90th and Redwood.
ReplyDeleteI've been to 2 different Walgreens and no luck so far. :(
ReplyDeleteI hope they come to NYC. It seems like we hardly get the LE collections :(.
ReplyDeleteI checked my local Meijer (where I found the "Spring Forward" 8 pans back in March)yesterday, and they didn't have them there. I also checked a Walgreens that was close by and they didn't have it. I also checked the CVS (this CVS had the "Where's the Party" palettes last fall) and Walgreens that are closest to my house last Saturday, and they didn't have them either. I'll be checking those two places again this Sunday, and hopefully hit the Meijer again sometime next week. I'm really hoping to find these! :)
ReplyDeleteSpotted the display at the State St Walgreens in Springfield, MA. I was in a rush, so just grabbed the two "Three's a Party" palettes(for myself and a good friend). I might go back tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI saw a "pop art craze" display at 1 of my many local drugstores in sf and it was completly emptt nothing in it. The other walgreens i went to didnt have it.
ReplyDeleteSpotted the eyeshadow palettes and a very small Fergie nail color display (with the new summer colors) at my local Rite Aid.
ReplyDeleteWhere are you located?
DeleteI'm so geeked! Walgreen's in Cleveland, MS had the eyeshadows and nail polishes!!! I grabbed 3 palettes!
ReplyDeleteThese have landed at my local Walgreen's - 1560 Warwick Ave (Hoxsie Four Corners) in Warwick, RI. For those of you who have trouble finding the Wet n' Wild LE products (or who don't want to drive all over creation looking for it), here are two suggestions. First, email Wet n' Wild with your zip code and ask them which stores in your area will be receiving the products. They are VERY good about responding. Also, get to know the beauty salesperson at your local Walgreen's store(s)! When a WNW LE product I want is going to be released, I print out a picture of the display (usually from this blog!) and put my name & phone number on it, along with a note of which products I want. I give it to the salesgirl at my local store, and she will set aside what I'm looking for as soon as they receive the display, and calls me to let me know. This REALLY beats having to go from store to store, hoping I not only find a store that carries the LE stuff, but also will still have the specific products I';m looking for still in stock.
ReplyDeleteFound these in while visting my daughter in Texas..Frisco. :) Came home to Atlanta and found them here at my local Rite Aid.
ReplyDeleteRan to a few different CVS's and Walgreens this morning - none of them had it. I tried to do what Dorothy suggested and get to know the beauty salesperson and such but they were pretty uncooperative. When I offered one of them a picture of the display they just kind of laughed at me. Soooo, that didn't work. Haha. When I got home a bit ago, I decided to look the collection up on eBay, and I saw an auction with all six palettes for $30. I went ahead and bought it now. It will save me on gas money, and really isn't a whole lot more than in the store, once you figure in tax and such. I'm just relieved that I don't need to look for them anymore. There are some more on eBay to anyone who is interested. :)
ReplyDeleteFound it yesterday at Walgreens on Clement & 9th in San Francisco. I have literally been to about a dozen Walgreens and CVSes in the city this past week looking for the Spring palettes with no luck, but I did find this.
ReplyDeleteDisplay was full except for one, but since I bought one of each palette, there's only 5 palettes left . . .
Found them at one of the Walgreens in Wichita Falls, TX. Picked up one of each palette.
ReplyDeleteFound all 6 today at walgreens in des moines iowa today
ReplyDeleteI found this in Huntington Park California on Walgreens by Pacific and Slauson and I love them
