Spotted: New got2b Beach Trippin' Salt-Infusion Waving Spray

Beach sprays are big this year when it comes to the drugstore. My favorite to date is the Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray which I reviewed here, but I'm also currently testing out the new L'Oreal beach spray, and I've heard from several of you that Organix has a new one out as well.

Just the other day, I spotted this new one from got2b:

New got2b Beach Trippin' Salt-Infusion Waving Spray
(retail: $6.99 at Rite Aid, 6.8 oz)

Are you a beach spray lover? If so, which drugstore beach sprays have you used? Will you be trying this one from got2b?

  1. I'm interested to hear your review of the L'oreal salt spray, I used the Not your Mammas version and some other one that I can't seem to remember, and they make my hair a nightmare of tangles and dryness, though I love the initial wavy piece-y look...

    1. I've been using the Loreal one and I really like it. I've never really like Got 2 Be products so I don't think I'll be picking this one up. The not your momma's was tempting but I didn't like the smell.

  2. I'm interested in trying the Nuance sea salt spray by Salma Hayek.

  3. I have yet to try a beach spray that compares to the John Frieda Ocean Waves spray from years ago....I've tried them all! And all of them leave the crunchy texture. *sigh* I refuse to spend $70 bucks on Ebay for the John Frieda spray. I will continue to try beach sprays hoping for a similar spray.

    1. Me too! The JF is absolutely legendary. I actually still have a bottle in my "vault" that I use VERY sparingly...my husband teases me when he sees my "precious." LOL!

    2. I too have one bottle of JF! I use it for special occasions too! I saw this Got 2B at Walmart and wondered about it!

  4. OH! I had not realized you were going to try the L'oreal one. I don't have wavy hair but was thinking of adding texture to my hair with beach spray so it'll have staying power when I put it up. I wonder if people with straight hair use beach spray and if they do, what they use it for? I'm just now starting to learn how to "do" my own hair.

I look forward to reading your review.

    1. I use the got2b spray and I have naturally straight and fine hair that will never hold any type of curl or wave and this stuff works like magic! My hair is wavy and cute. This is by far the best spray I have ever used.. Long story short, I love it!!

  5. I tried this one, and I like it. I understand the complaints but, honestly, when I'd go for a dunk in the ocean, my hair would have a slight crunch to it when it dried. I was able to finger comb it out though, both with actual sea water and the got2be product.

  6. I actually use ocean water in a spray bottle. If you have access to the sea, bring a bottle and take water from a rocky area near the shore. Avoid dirty water, it must be clear. I've done this for years. Good luck. Linda
