Spotted: New Sally Hansen French Mani Salon Effects

Reader Lesley spotted the new French Mani Salon Effects display at her local Walmart and was nice enough to share some pics:

Keep reading for more pics and info...

Lesley was nice enough to point out that the display she spotted was not complete (as you'll see below, the boxes don't match the corresponding names on the actual display):

Some of the designs in this display include:
Pink Macaroon, Silver Lining, Gold Cabaret, Steel the Night, Noir Boudoir

It looks like the French tips in this collection are comprised of "glittery" strips and also creme strips.

Have you spotted these in your area yet? Thoughts?

Thanks so much, Lesley, for the great sighting and pics!

  2. These have been at my Target for a month now, but they are with the regular Sally Hansen nail strips no special display for them.

  3. I bought my mom the white tip one, I didn't know they'd be so expensive! $16 for one package! It seems a little expensive for just one application.

  4. I thought I saw these but I didn't realize they were french mani strips. Love the polka-dotted one.

  5. I spotted these in Toronto at my local Shoppers Drug Mart just before the Christmas...I think I may give the Natural/White tip a try...curious about the wear time?

  6. I saw these at Giant Eagle a couple of weeks ago. I'm not too crazy about french manis, but these do look kind of cool. Although, they were like $12 or something crazy like that so I will not be getting them.

  7. I love the concept, however, I haven't seen them for less than $12 and my experience with the sally hansen strips is that they don't last 3 days before I get massive tip wear. Even though I always use Seche Vite as a top coat over them. I mean, for $20 I can go get them professionally painted, why spend $12-16 on a one time application? I bet we're going to be seeing a lot of these on the clearence shelves in coming months.

  8. French tips are hard for me, so I definitely want to try this kit out.
The regular SH appliques wear really well on me- and I'm TOUGH on manis, they never last long as a rule- and I get two applications out of the regular kit, so I think it would be worth the money.

  10. just bought a set of these in silver lining at walgreens. i'm really disappointed that there are only enough strips to do one application! at $12 a pop, thats a little expensive for me, and the clear strips are all a little too wide for my nails. it was fun to try them, but I probably wouldn't purchase again!

  12. I love these!! I even use them on my toes! They usually last 10 to 14 days...depending on how quickly my nails grow. I've used tons of different colors, too. The hearts and skulls are my favorites!
