I can't even tell you how long I've been hoping that Wet n Wild would come out with a new line of liquid lip colors. I love, love, love the Black Radiance Ice Angel glosses (they're ridiculously pigmented), and since Markwins owns both Wet n Wild and Black Radiance, I'm hoping these are similar! Take a peek at all 13 shades (hey, 13 is my lucky number--that's gotta be a good sign!):

ReplyDeleteI tried the barbie pink one (that looks like the dollhouse pink lippy) and I really did not like it =/ ... The color pay of on my hand was phenomenal, I was so excited to put it on! However when I applied it to the lips it was very difficult to work with. It still had great color pay of, but the problem was that one you apply it to your lips you cannot press them together until fully dry or they will great blotches due to transfer. Also once it dries and you smile it creates tears in the lipstick.. I dont know if I was doing something wrong or maybe it was this color in particular but I returned it :(

Did it have any fragrance/ flavor? I can't wear the wet n wild wetshine glosses cause they taste so nasty!

DeleteIf you are looking for a long wear lip try Maybelline 24hr lipcolor.. it does not do any of those. It' the only thing I wear besides balm. I have over a dozen of them.
I suggest that you pair there color with a clear gloss. It will work lik mac's double sided lip stain. I actually loved click on my hyperpink i used a little less, paired with gloss and it came out a cute barbie pink :-) love this stuff! Wet n wild should sell it double sided as a two step color, but put clear gloss on top and it really does last for hours

ReplyDeleteOooh! They are doing their own Pink Perfection? I wonder if it will be a dupe for Maybbelline's Color Sensational Pink Perfection since I can't find it anymore, but did get Shocking Pink from their Hi-Shine collection. I may have to find the WNW one from this line to see how it's like!

ReplyDeleteI currently own four of these, Red My Mind, Back To The Fuchsia, Click On My HyperPink, and High-Pitched Wine. I can report that these 4 shades contain no shimmer or glitter, they are completely matte. Also, while I did not care much for the brown undertone of High-Pitched Wine, I found it to be a good base for the notoriously patchy and hard to work with lipstick Milani Blackcherry. I applied directly over High-Pitched Wine, and the color went on smooth and without any patchiness. I'm not sure how it will work with other lipsticks but it seems to work well with this one in particular. Thought it was worth mentioning!!
ReplyDeleteI really like the way this applied it went on very smoothy and with a beautiful rich color and high shine. It does seem to last on my lips as I applied this 2 hours ago and the color is still strong and does not need touch up. It is also not leaving any product on my teeth ans staying right where I applied it! I got this at my local HEB and it had a peel off dollar off coupon from Wet n Wild right on the packaging so that was a bonus. That's the good part. Now, the ugly truth, it is very dry feeling after only 2 hours and I really want to apply a gloss or lip balm over this. It feels like my lips are coated with a dry caked on formula and is a bit gritty and I am sitting here wishing I had some moisturizer for my dry feeling lips. Too bad, as the product has such good potential. I am glad I bought one, but unless something changes my mind, I doubt I will purchase another tube. Now off to put on some softlips over these lips. It doesn't seem to be a really bad product, I think it can be managed if used along with some moisturizing balm.
ReplyDeletei don't like these. i thought they'd be a bit moisturizing or at least they wouldn't tranfer, but they're drying, transfer & just feel horrible! i don't like them at all.
ReplyDeleteI love the fabulous color payoff on 'Red My Mind' and was surprised how completely matte it is. There's also no transfer at all until I add balm. I'm a bit worried about ring around the mouth, tho - still waiting to see how it's going to fade (I've had it on about 1.5 hours at this point).

ReplyDeleteI just purchased Back to the Fuchsia and while the color payoff is INCREDIBLE, I just can't figure out how to wear this without suffering through VERY dry lips. I did try to smooth some Rosebud Salve over this product on my lips, but it came at the cost of losing some of the gorgeous vibrancy of the color. Would love to read a review or get some opinions from other readers!
