Lipstick League Question of the Week:
Do you get excited when you finish a beauty product?
G's answer: It depends. If it's something that I'm trying to finish in order to "allow" myself to replace it with something new, then I definitely get excited when I'm done with it. But if it's a staple or Holy Grail product, then I usually get a little annoyed that I have to run out and buy another (if I don't already have back-ups purchased when the product was on sale).

Do you get excited when you finish a product?
Haha, yes I always get excited when I finish a product because I get to buy more.
ReplyDeleteNope.. I love my products. If I don't love them I toss them, life is too short IMO to be frustrated by something that is supposed to make you feel beautiful. There is always the possibility that I will not be able to purchase a replacement as well.. a lot of my stuff is LE, and they discontinue things so often. If it is an HG or a basic I wear everyday I have to go through the process of finding something else I love to replace it, which usually means waste or disappointment.
ReplyDeleteI would say yes and no, like you said G. Yes, because a lot of things I test out and I think that's a fun part of makeup. However when you use up something LE or HG...it's annoying because cosmetic companies discontinue things all the time. What with blogging and YTing though, it's not hard to find dupes for things :)
ReplyDeleteNo! I hate finishing products up, ESP eyeshadows bc most of what I have was le or hard to find.. So it's sad to use up the last bit.. I do enjoy using up primers and lotions bc they lose freshness much quicker!
