When you make a purchase at Sallly in November, you'll get a $5 off a $20 purchase coupon on your receipt, which you can use on Thanksgiving Weekend (there are bound to be some great sales that weekend for even better savings). I don't know if there's a minimum purchase required in order to get this coupon (if you know, please leave a comment--thanks in advance!).
Actually- the Holiday Sparkle Topcoat doesn't look like those swatches! I just bought a bottle, and it's a polish filled with iridescent bar glitter and fine glitter :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, thank you, Diana, for the tip! I thought this was re-release of last year's version. Good to know that it's NOT the same as last year's. Thanks again for the info! :)
DeleteNo problem!! I have last year's too... I think I like it better, bar glitter isn't really my thing (but I bought it anyways of course!)
DeleteI agree--I think I like last year's better too. :( Thanks again for the great info. xo
DeleteI bought "Santa's Magic" on Saturday, and all I have to say is, if you're only going to buy one of these polishes, "Santa's Magic" is it. It's similar to China Glaze's "Techno", but it's smaller glitter is a size or two larger than "Techno". This glitter is *magical*.
ReplyDeleteSold! :D
DeleteI picked out my favorites. I was happy to see Sally's actually had them out!
ReplyDeleteOooh, which did ya get? ;)
Deletehehe, those are my swatches. And uh, my cat pajamas. Thanks Mom!
ReplyDeletesanta's magic is seriously incredible. I wore Elves Bells today and the coverage wasn't great - it may work better with one thick coat as opposed to three thin coats, or with undies. I'm really particular about VNL though. I did four coats on one nail and it popped off the first time I washed my hands today, but that nail was very smooth, so not really surprising.
The green is VERY pretty in person. It looks like a shimmery Christmas tree...
Also, my Sally's was running a promo for when you buy three of the Holiday of Wonders polishes, you get another FP polish for free. However, the cashier had some trouble ringing it up, and said the coupon was coded wrong, so YMMV.
OMG, are you serious?!?!? I was HOPING that I linked to one of my readers pics! Yay!! :D I didn't see a profile and I was like, "Well, if it's a reader's account, I hope they say something!" :D
DeleteThanks so much for letting me know (and for posting those swatches). Love your jammies. :)
Yup! I think my profile is hidden on imgur. I had posted a link to the album in a few places. I feel all fancy seeing them on your blog!
DeleteAnd thanks. :D
Aaah, well it was the first thing that came up when I did a google search for "fingerpaints sparkle and snowflake" and when I saw it I said, "Perfect! I'm linking to this!" (I really wanted to see a swatch of Sparkle and Snowflake.) :)
DeleteI saw this yesterday when I went! My store didn't have the new CG cirque dis collection. But the new finger paints were so sparkly!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty sure that there is no minimum purchase to get the coupon. I went twice, once spending under 10 and another with 15 and got the coupon both times. My sally's didn't have the whole holiday collection for FP out yet, just the bar glitter topcoat.
