ReplyDeleteI spent way to much time on this promo! I went through everything in the make up category because oddly things that aren't makeup were there. I got several philosophy items which were already 20% off(amazing grace perfume, baby body set, foundation and the present clear makeup) I read a previous comment that there was a GWP for philosophy but I didn't receive it. I got a natural Lavera lipstick and Lustre shines in firefly and scarab. I had to create 2 orders because it wouldn't combine with my previous drugstore dollars. So my first purchase was the giovanni chocolate scrub (which is not available locally - so excited) plus they offered a giovanni travel tea tree GWP.

I've tried using a different browser, logging out and logging back in, deleting my cart and logging out and starting over... I don't know what else to do. =( Email them? Phone them?
ReplyDeleteYou probably need to clear your cache. I can't remember how to do it manually, but you can download ccleaner for free, which will do it for you. (if you want to keep saved passwords and/or autofill, you have to uncheck those options on the menu)

DeleteI had to logout, clear my browser cookies, and then create a new account with a different email address. MAKEUP40 can't be combined with other offers, and sometimes you already have an offer attached to your account...doesn't seem to be a way to remove an existing offer. Also, they only want the code to be used once per household. It's tied to email account, so I was able to place a second order using a different email...when I lost the willpower to resist ordering more goodies :P

It's just so darn hard to resist when it is almost half price. The one thing that I am considering is the Hard Candy glamoflauge concealer (mostly want the pencil that comes with it, but willing to give the concealer a shot).. but I don't think they carry it.

ReplyDeleteeBates changes rates for different promos. Sometimes they focus on beauty and sometimes housewares or fashion. I always try to time my order with higher rates but it's not happening for this one.

ReplyDeleteI missed out on the Philosophy GWP but after they sold out they discounted full price to 20% off, which isn't bad stacked w/ 40%. I got two philosophy sets 'falling in love' and 'amazing grace', and the real techniques travel brushes. The site's really confusing- if you have a specific brand you're looking at, make sure the item you want is under the 'makeup' section by using the filters on the sidebar. My credit card is very sad after the UD sale, this sale and the Sephora sale coming up. I don't regret it though. Thanks G!

The promo wouldn't work in my cart for the brushes (I suppose beauty tools doesn't count as makeup) so I nixed it off. LOL! I soooo agree with you about my credit card being sad!
