I want to thank those of you who contacted me recently about the new Fall/Winter 2012 releases from Hard Candy. I wish I could respond to all the emails/tweets/etc. but I honestly can't keep up with the questions, sightings info, etc. (I'm so sorry about that)!
There are so many new products and new shades for Fall/Winter that I needed to break this down into a multi-part series. To kick things off, in this post I'll be covering the new Top Ten eyeshadow palettes and Single & Lovin' It eyeshadow singles, as well as new Walk The Line liquid liner shades. Hopefully this series will answer any questions you have but if not, leave a comment and I'll do my best to get answers for you. Also, expect some reviews of these products soon!
As most of you already know, Hard Candy products are available exclusively at Walmart. These new products should already be at your local Walmart (if they're not there now, they should be very soon). For more info, visit the Hard Candy website here.

These look really nice!! I did see the liners at walmart already but nothing else, unless I wasn't paying too much attention and just walked by them without noticing.
ReplyDeleteI bet that these will make great stocking stuffers!! Very cute; I particularly like the palettes. Thank you for the preview! :)
ReplyDeleteThose not only look cool but the price is awesome too.
ReplyDeleteThese are nice, Lord knows I don't need to go to Walmart tonight to find these.
ReplyDeleteThe palettes and shadows are in my walmart. I'm in SC. I got the neutral and green palettes. jury's still out over here...lol...but there is a review on them on DivaMakeupQueen's channel.
ReplyDeleteSaw these at Walmart today but didn't buy them because I already have dozens of similar colors and haven't been impressed with this brand.
ReplyDeleteI bought the top ten palette in greens and neutrals. Ladies don't waste your money. They are very chalky and powdery. I found when applying them they were a mess and produced a lot of fallout. The pans have a layer on top of them to better their appearance which make the color payoff not so good. Once you get underneath that layer the color payoff improves a bit. I do think there are products much more deserving of your money like Wet n Wild Coloricon or even the baked eyeshadows from Hard Candy which are pretty awesome!
ReplyDeleteThank you for saving me the money! I hate when products have that spray on finish that makes them look better than they are.
DeleteNoooooooo!!!!!!!!! I was hoping for better. :(
DeleteI am sooo disappointed! I love their baked eye shadows and I was expecting equal quality from these palettes.
DeleteThanks so much for saving me the cash!!
I tried out the blue one and seriously, it was sooooo hard to work with. So uneven and horrible.
DeleteI bought the neutral palette but have yet to try it. I've been really impressed with this brand so I figured I couldn't pass it up for 6$!
ReplyDeleteI bought the Smokey palette yesterday & used it this morning. I thought about 6 or 7 of the colors would be great from my swatches, but actually using them on my eye (with both brushes and sponge applicators) was disappointing. They're mostly chalky, with fallout and terrible fading over the course of the day. I use UDPP in Sin underneath & these shadows still managed to look mostly matte. It's like all of the shimmer falls out and leaves the chalky mess on my eyes...
ReplyDeleteI'm bummed, because I wanted to love these and grab them all. It's not a terrible deal if I can get 2 or 3 to work out, but Hard Candy is so good at making pigmented blush that it's a little ridiculous that the eyeshadow lines are so hit or miss.
i just saw the neutral one at my walmart but they were putting them out while i was there and there was no price. if i knew it was only $6 i wouldve picked it up!! :)
ReplyDeleteI bought one of the single eyeshadows (the pale pink one) and it's pretty nice. Shimmery, fairly soft, decently pigmented with primer. Not amaaaazing, but for $3 I really like it.
ReplyDeleteGlitter overspray should be illegal...
ReplyDeleteAmen! how is a person able to judge what they are buying if they spay that crap on it but underneath is basically a mat eyeshadow grrr I hate that.
Deletei tried the neutral palette the other day and omg the shadows are terrible! :( I was so excited but the pigmentation is not good at all. this had so much potential
ReplyDeleteOoh exciting! Those palettes look nice!
ReplyDeleteLike I need another nuetral palette! But ill probably buy it anyways. It remind me of the physicians formula shimmer strips.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the top ten palettes I got super excited because they look so nice and are fairly cheap but after reading the comments on here ... whew, desire has been neutralized! Thanks ladies for all your honest input!
ReplyDeleteI went ahead and purchased 3 of the palettes and somne of the Glamoflauge concealer. By the time I bought them last week, they had already been picked over!
ReplyDeletei misread one of the new liner shade names as 'douche'....think i need more coffee, haha!
ReplyDeleteI see another green eyeliner in my future!
ReplyDeleteRead a review tonight about the pink palette.. it was awful. I was really hoping the green one would be better, it's a beautiful palette, but after the reviews here I'll be saving my money. Such a shame, I have no idea why they bother to release products that are really bad.. you think someone would test them beforehand. I recently bought some of their shadow duos and they were quite nice, so I know they can make a decent shadow if they wanted.
ReplyDeleteI got 2 of the single and loving it eyeshadow colors infatuation #512 and soiree #516 the color is awesome an it blends very well, plus its silky, it doesnt like clump up when you swatch it on fingers not bad for 3 bucks i will buy the other colors later on at my walmart. :)
ReplyDeleteThe new palettes look amazing!! I wouldn't mind having all of them!
