While standing at the register at CVS or Rite Aid trying to rip my rewards from the bottom of my receipt...why did I never think to do THIS?
All those times I had coupons sitting in the front seat of my car and no scissors handy, I could have used my debit or rewards card? LOL :(
Lol! I started doing this after I took a printmaking class and I had to tear (what felt like) hundreds of sheets of paper. It's a super handy trick!
I keep scissors in my purse, but on the rare occasion I've switched purses and the scissors didn't make the switch, I use the edge of the counter.
Haha, I've actually never thought of this. I usually just fold the paper and press on the fold with my nail tip before tearing it...
My mom taught me this from day one. Yet I still manage to mess it up. lol I'll usually make a crease with the tip of my nail and just tear it off like the previous person said.
Me too, and I manage to mess it up as well!
I'm way too lazy...I go for the rip and hope for the best method.
I do the crease and lick method! Gross i know but effective
LOL! What a duh moment (for me as well). I usually use the edge of the counter, if it's not beveled.
OMG I love that you read lifehacker, too.
