Who are some of your favorite beauty-related Etsy sellers?
Right off the top of my head, I love Savor and One Hand Washes The Other (though the bulk of her products are now available through her own website). Who are you some of your faves?

Both SugarBeeBeauty and OpulentAlchemy offer great designer imposter perfumes and cologne oils and are quite cheap.

While OpulentAlchemy has a wider couture selection, SugarBeeBeauty offers sample vials and also has a wide range of her own creative mixes. I love her mix of Tokyo Milk's "Let Them Eat Cake" and Comptoir Sud Pacific's "Vanille Abricot".

I'm a longtime lover of CSP scents and I actually just bought my first Tokyo Milk fragrance the other day when I posted about that (now expired) free OCC Lip Tar promotion on beauty.com! DeleteOpulentAlchemy has most, if not all, of the CSP perfume line. She also has a large selection of Lush and Aveda. As I said, she doesn't do samples anymore, but her full-sized bottles are only $2 if you buy more 6 or more.
DeleteI actually just came across GreenDaffodil, greendaffodilstudio.blogspot.com, in a local Metro Detroit shop (Kitty Deluxe, also on etsy), but GD has a link to etsy, too. Their lilac candles are really good and lilac-y and I found a soy-lavender lip balm that is so good it makes me want to start a hoard.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, YES! Julien, there are a zillion indie nail polish, cosmetics, bath and body and candle sellers on Etsy! It's actually quite overwhelming, which is why I asked this question! I love personal recommendations rather than just "taking a chance" so I hope to get lots and lots of recs (especially about the indie nail polish sellers because I just can't make up my mind about who to try first!). :)

ReplyDeleteOoooh, I love Darling Clandestine and OHWTO perfumes. As far as makeup, Femme Fatale Cosmetics and Black Rose Minerals both have some gorgeous colors, and De Leon Cosmetics makes a great eyeshadow primer!

ReplyDeleteBubbles Up by Bethie B - Makes amazing soaps that look and smell like desserts. I can't let fall pass without ordering the pumpkin pie soap.
Paintbox Soapworks - More unique, less foodie scented soaps and scrubs. My favorite is "Dead Leaves on the Dirty Ground," which smells like evergreens, burning leaves and cold nights.
Solstice Scents - Primarily moved off Etsy to solsticescents.com, but she makes THE best whipped soaps, scrubs, body ganache, even facial products. Her general catalogue is very incense-y, but her seasonal collections ROCK. Fall usually brings pumpkin spice latte, caramel apple, blueberry muffin batter and the like... Holiday is even yummier! She also has literally the best customer service I've ever encountered.

I love allechamp on etsy. Sorry I can't get to the link right now but just search that seller.. I bought a gorgeous handmade eye shadow palette from her for $18.. And they are gorgeous.. Also, they are pressed ( I'm not a bih loose Es fan) Aldo, she has an awesome red lip gloss for sale that it unbelievable!!
