Just a quick scenario for the Wet n Wild sale at Rite Aid this week:
As I posted in the Weekly Drugstore Sales post, all regularly-priced $0.99 items (Coloricon lip and eye pencils, Wild Shine polishes, Silk Finish lipsticks and pencil sharpeners) are on sale for $0.69 this week at Rite Aid. AND, if you spend $10, you get $3 back in +UP Rewards.
So here's the scenario:
- Buy 15 $0.99 items. With the sale price, your total goes from $14.85 to $10.35.
- Then you'll receive $3 back in +UP Rewards, which brings your total down to $7.35. That breaks down to just $0.49 per ITEM after sale/rewards!
I'd love if you'd leave comments on this post with your favorite Wet n Wild products from the $0.99 line:
Wild Shine nail polishes
Coloricon brow & eyeliners
Coloricon shimmer pencils
Coloricon lip liners
Silk Finish lipsticks
pencil sharpener
Personally, I think you can't go wrong with Coloricon 666 lipliner (I've been wearing this as a lip color over lip balm for more than 20 years), And some of my favorite Wild Shine polishes are: Sunny Side Up, Night Prowl, Eggplant Frost, Rain Check, and it's always great to stock up on Black Creme and French White Creme to use as base shades for glitter polishes. Oh, and the clear top coat for frankens!
What are some of your favorites from the lines above?
I don't have any Rite Aid near us anymore, they closed the ones in FL, bummer. I wish I had a place I could find the LE or Color Icon WnW products! You ladies with Rite Aid's are so lucky! Great post! :D
ReplyDeletePamela do you have a walgreens near you? If so they will be running the .99 cent sale as well.
DeleteThat's so weird seeing as Eckerd is now Right-Aid and Eckerd college is in St. Petersburg, same family. Weirddddd. Walgreens has their polishes for .69 for the rest of April I think.
DeleteI love the black creme polish, as you mentioned, and my favorite of the silk finish lipsticks is Cinnamon (509a) - I swatched a couple of the red creme silk finish lipsticks a little while back on my blog, and Cinnamon is the only one I ended up loving.
ReplyDeleteWild Shine polish in Jezebel is amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI may pick up some of the nail polishes. Ive seen alot of people make frankens out of them. This is a cheap way to test some creations out!
ReplyDeleteWhat in the world is a franken?
DeleteA franken is when you mix 2 or more nail polishes to get a custom color :)
DeleteYes! I like to stock up on the clear polish. It's perfect for fixing some polishes that are almost perfect. There's a Color Club polish called Ms. Hautie, where the color sort of "swallowed" the glitter when I put it on my nails. After thinning it out with a good bit of clear, I have a less opaque base color and the glitter can really shine. I've also thinned out some of my very opaque (and streaky!) pastel creams to make them a little more friendly to apply.
DeleteI was in a rush at Rite Aid today so I only focused on getting certain color icon pencils.
ReplyDeleteNot sure what 15 other items I want to get for the +UP reward, haha, but I still need to get the nail polishes. Rain Check is definitely on my list! And I like Blue Moon a lot too.
Ugh, I probably should've waited to get the pencils in one trip. But I don't know when I'll have a chance to visit Rite Aid this week.
G. You rock! I got an awesome haul: 3 ColorIcon eye pencils, one ColorIcon lip pencil, 5 polishes 5 Silk Finish lipsticks! All for less than I could spend on ONE beauty product. SCORE! :)
ReplyDeleteG. I love it when you lay it out for us so clearly... it's a no-brainer that way. Keep it going! :D
