I've received several inquires as to what's being discontinued by Wet n Wild for 2012, so I asked my contact for a complete list. This info comes directly from Wet n Wild:
- Color Icon Eyeshadow Single in Penny
- Color Icon Eyeshadow 6-Pan Palettes (entire line)
- MegaLiner Liquid Eyeliner in Blue and Brown
- MegaSlicks Lip Gloss in Sheerly Cocoa, Candy Apple, and Berry Burst
- MegaBrilliance Lip Gloss in Blushing and Shimmy Shimmer
- Perfect Pair Lip Wand in Sensual Peach
- Speed Gloss Energizing Lip Shine (entire line)
- Ultimate Minerals Blush (entire line)
I hope this helps give you an idea of what you might want to stock up on before these products disappear completely (we already knew about the 6-pans so hopefully you've stocked up on your favorites already!).
I will be updating my Wet n Wild master list (in the top menu bar) as soon as I post my reviews of all of the new 2012 products in the days to come.

when you mean the entire line of the 6 pan color icon eyeshadows, do you mean the large ones like comfort zone and the smaller ones with the palette names 'vanity' and 'greed'? D:

The large ones like Comfort Zone are 8-pans. They only palettes that are discontinued are the SIX pans.
Glad I stocked up on the Vanity and Lust palettes. Though I've grown to love my Greed palette so I might have to go and pick that one up before it's too late!
Glad you did too! I loooove the mattes in those 6-pans BUT, I'm hoping that WnW replaces them with something equally as amazing in the months to come (fingers crossed).

This is awful...does anybody have any recommendations for a light blue liquid liner like Wet n Wild's? I can't wear pencil liner (or at least not easily), and I can't spend a lot of money for more expensive liquid liners....
(Also, as an aside - I completely love this blog! Sadly, life as a college students leaves me far too little time to comment, but I wanted to let you know that. :D)

Wish Wet and wild would give us some single shadows in Mattes.. Like some neutrals.. Also, wish theyd make a single of thd taupe color in Silent Treatment palette. ONLY color I use in that palette..Can you request that to WnW???
Were you able to pick up the limited edition all-matte 8-pan they released a while back? I know it didn't have all of the same colors that were in the 6-pans but it was a single palette with only mattes (like you said you wish they made).

My local Walgreens has completely removed all the singles from their wall. :( Good to know that my favorite ones aren't discontinued.
I've heard that from other readers too. My suspicion is that they're going to reset the entire display to accommodate the older (non-discontinued) singles along with the new singles.
I knew the 6 pans were supposed to be continued for a while now and I've been getting backups. I'm really sick over this one. I hope they bring them back. They are too good to discontinue!

All of these items have been discontinued at my local RiteAid at 75% so it's a good item to stock up since these are going bye-bye to begin with.
I hope the mattes in Vanity resurface in an 8 pan. I Heart Matte was mostly Greed's colors, which are too warm for my skintone. The 6 pans were WnW's best. Sad to see Lust and Vanity go (definitely got backups).
Surprised about penny, it is a favorite of a lot of people. Very pretty color.

Yep. I announced that here on the blog maybe about six months ago, and I tried to periodically remind people to get their back-ups, but it looks like a lot of people missed it. :( I hope you can get your backups before they're gone. *fingers crossed for you* :)

I think this is a huge mistake for them. I don't care for the 8 pan palettes at all, and unless the matte 8 pan is good, I won't buy them. I just bought an 8 pan a few weeks ago and was shocked at how bad it is compared to the 6.
Haven't seen the 6 pan at any of my walgreens in a LONG time. And the selection they have of WnW is so limited. I took me forever just to get the 8 pan and a few of the single pans. I wanted Penny so bad and the 6 pan. Might have to get them online.
Any suggestions on how long the powder products will last if we go buy backups?
I'm hoping this means room for more, new goodies!

OHMY GAHHH!! I dunno whether or not I should stock up, I am sad about Penny being discontinue which is so odd of why just one color? It is such a beautiful eyeshadow. And Man I got excited whenever there is 40% off sale at RA because where I live, RA is the only one that carry the 6 pan ones. I have the entire line of 6 pan, but have not even use up any of it. Dunno whether or not I should stock up the entire line. Oh how I wish there is sale right now at RA, I would go and buy everything being discontinue. I have not even try their mineral line. Hmm....I should have when there was a sale!! I'll be lurking around RA to see if they will have these on clearance or some good discount. Love Wet n Wild so much!!
If you have Rite Aid near you...try to go there for the 6 pans palette. My CVS does not carry WnW, and Walgreen does not carry 6 pan eversince 8 pan came out. New colors for single ones are kinda rare, you have to wait a while for it to appear. I always have to go to several Walgreens to check out for new item in stock.
I know most powder products last long and know definitely more than 1 year. I know that as long you don't open the products, it would last longer until you open it. The less air exposure, the more shelf life there is.

NOOOO!!!!! This was my reaction when I read the list! I love the 6 pan palettes! Why would they discontinue them?! I just went on strike from buying anymore makeup products!!! *sigh* Are they planning on replacing these palettes with a new line of palettes?

Interesting dilema... I will get a backup of a couple of the 6 pans if they are on sale... I know they're are planning "bigger & better" things... Hope they continue to do MATTES because they are so hard to find good quality ones at the drugstore.
Just got Perfect Pair Lip Wand in Sensual Peach last week & I really like it. Better get 1 or 2 more, plus a couple of other WNW things. :sigh:
Check your local Big Lots and Dollar Tree...you might find the 6pans there..for a while..

I don't care for the 8 pans what do ever...wish they would realize how many of us LOVED the 6 pans?!?!? I mean I personally have several back ups - but please pass along to your friend at WNW how disappointed so many of us are :( they need to come back & if not, at least make an 8 pan "naked" palette with some mattes! :)
