I have to tell you--last's week's question was so fun for me to read! I was excited to see that so many of you are also wearing Sally Hansen Pacific Blue on your toes right now--it's such great blue! Heck, even my mom, who is generally opposed to non-traditional shades on my toes, said, "Oooh, I like that blue." I almost fell out of my chair when she said she wanted to wear it on her toes (she's 70, so that's really saying something, right?).

What lip color do you find yourself reaching for the most these days?
I mentioned before that I find myself reaching for my lipstains when the weather's extremely warm, and the shade I'm reaching for the most these days is NYC Smooch Proof 16H Lipstain in Persistent Pink. What about you? What are you reaching for the most the most these days?
The color of the moment for me is a shimmery pinky mauve. My lips are actually that color but I shine them up with a shimmer or a gloss.
ReplyDeleteMy go to for now is Sally Hanson's Natural Beauty Lip Gloss in Mystical Mauve. They probably discountinued it as I got it last year in the CVS 75% discount.
I have been reaching for Elf Maple Sugar or Pink Lemonade. Only $1 and these lipsticks in a click pen are AMAZING!

ReplyDeleteI picked up Femme Couture's Super Juicies sheer lip gloss at Sally Beauty for $2.99 and I love it! It's yummy and adds a hint of color to my lips. I also love Essence XXXL Shine glosses. There's a shimmery nude that's pretty and I love the hot pink one too. For $1.99 each you can't go wrong :).

ReplyDeleteSuch a hard question for me! I'm a lippie fiend, as I think I've mentioned before; I have 11 lippies in my in-purse makeup bag and another 25 or so in my makeup drawer. And I love them all!
ReplyDeleteBut lately I've been all over the new Milani Haute Flash glosses, in particular, the pale-pink-w-blue-sheen one (don't remember the name). On my lips it's a very sheer, hardly noticeable pink, but the blue flash absolutely GLOWS. Unique and subtle yet attention-grabbing. I'm in love. ^_^
Anything that's MLBB, kind of a pinky-brown, or if I'm feeling like a little more color I'll use a more plummy-brown/browny-plum, but nothing TOO too obvious. When it's warm I'm a sweater, lol, so I can't wear foundation or anything, really, so having lippie as neutral and not obvious as possible is what I prefer.

ReplyDeleteI've been addicted to my Buxom Full Color Lipgloss in Lolita, it is my go to my lips but better color. I feel like it gives my lips a beautiful look but doesn't look too made up for summer.
ReplyDeleteI use CG Lipperfection in Kiss or NYX Soft Matte Cream in Antwerp and layer CG Amazemint in Freedom of Peach on top. So I end up with a pretty peachy/pink hue on my lips. :)

ReplyDeleteI picked up a lipgloss from the Essence Blooms collection in Naive and I reach for that ALL the time. I love it, such a pretty pink!
ReplyDeleteI'm all over the place with my lips color because I own so many; Lipcolor is my favorite pick me up for my face...but during the summer I have to say I tend to reach for more glossy glosses..however one of my favorite glosses is still my Covergirl Wetslicks in Watermelon. It's a lovely shade of coral/pink and looks super good when you're tan!
