Spotted: new polishes from Sally Hansen

I've got two new collections from Sally Hansen to show you today, so let's get right into it!

First up, my lovely reader Margaret spotted this Limited Edition Insta Dri collection and was kind enough to share:

Lots of pretty jewel-tones here! If you enlarge the pic above, that teal looks like a duochrome!

The wonderful Kimberly spotted the new Xtreme Wear shades (this display doesn't seem to say "limited edition" so perhaps these are new core collection colors?):

Pumpkin Spice is so pretty! It TOTALLY reminds me of the limited edition Milani Halloween polish from two years ago called Magical!

Thanks SO much, Margaret and Kimberly, for the awesome pics and scoop!

Have you spotted or purchased any of these new Sally Hansen polishes yet?

  1. The Milani polish is just what I thought of when I saw Pumpkin Spice!

Has it really been two years? I have it and I've never used it because I forget about it during the fall.

  4. I have the pink (Very Cherry), the blue (Deep Blue Sea), the gold-ish color (Time To Shine), the Gold Glitter (Set The Stage), & the black one...can't remember the name of that one, though. I almost picked up pumpkin spice last night, but it looks VERY thin. Almost a layering color. I'd have to see a swatch first before purchasing.

  5. I saw these at Walgreens! I might go back and get a few, I noticed a different display of the Xtreme Wear nail polishes were on sale for 2/$4. I wonder if these new ones are too?

  6. I just picked up the glittery teal one! It's a great layering polish but doesn't have much pigment really.

  7. So many of them look great! I definitely want at least a few of them, but I really want Pumpkin Spice! I am a total sucker for interesting black shades, especially with glitter.

  8. I saw these today too! Picked up the light brown one in the Extreme Wear line, Time to Shine, which was on sale 2/$4. It's a little thin, but opaque at three coats. It's gorgeous.

I also bought Coco a-go-go, from the Insta-Dri line. Opaque in two coats, and absolutely fabulous. I'm in love. I wanted to get the Ruby one, but money's tight, so I stopped at the two I mentioned, even though I really shouldn't have bought those. *sigh*

  9. Oh my gosh, I am so stalking down Pumpkin Spice ASAP. Halloween is a HUGE favorite of mine, and I think I need to be wearing this on my nails now. Thank you for posting this!

  10. I just saw the Insta Dry ones at walgreens last night but not the new hard as nails ones. I MUST OWN PUMPKIN SPICE!! I'll have to scour around and find them ;)

  11. OK, I am going to need all of these! Is that Bronze Ablaze a dupe of Chanel's Peridot? I'm catching a hint of green and gold in that color on the screen, but maybe it's just me... So pretty - I hope I find them soon!

  12. I too saw these at Walgreen the other day and decided to wait a bit as the colors seemed to say "fall" to me and I certainly dont want to rush through my pretty summer colors just yet! :)

  13. I spotted some of the new Xtreme Wear at Target...I bought 5 and then returned 2....the display was not complete. I need Pumpkin Spice and possibly the teal color.

  14. I picked up Bronze Ablaze, and I *really* think it's a dupe for Chanel Peridot...I don't know for sure though, b/c I'm poor LOL :)

  15. So I'm not the only one who thinks that insta-dri bronze color might satisfy a lemming for Chanel Peridot. :-) It sure looks duochromey in that first pic!

  16. I now own Pumpkin Spice....scoured 3 Walgreens but finally found them putting them out as I walked in the door at the last one ;) Ahhhh....

  17. I bought five of the Insta Dri LE polishes earlier this week, and I love all of them. A couple of them are duocromes, although they aren't as strong on the nail as they are in the bottle. I've been wearing Teal-y Fast for two days now, and it's gorgeous! Almost opaque in one coat and no chips so far; plus it looks dark blue in some lights and dark teal in others. Gorgeous! Sadly, Bronze Ablaze is not a dupe for Chanel Peridot. I have both and would be glad to do a comparison pic to show the differences.

  18. I ended up finding the Bronze Ablaze - it's close to Peridot for sure, but I'll be swatching them this weekend to compare! It is a gorgeous color, for sure.

  19. I grabbed Deep Blue Sea (lovely blue foil), Set the Stage (gold hex glitter), and Pumpkin Spice. I haven't swatched Pumpkin Spice yet - but I did try it out on one nail - it's definitely going to be a layering polish - VERY thin.
