If you missed the Weekly Drugstore Makeup Sales post, then you might not know that starting TODAY (Sunday) CVS is printing out a "Mystery Beauty Coupon" at the red scanner box. A HUGE thanks to my wonderful reader Aloix for leaving a comment today and letting us know that the mystery coupon might actually be TWO coupons! Aloix scanned her card today and got a $5 off $20 facial care coupon AND a $5 off $20 Maybelline or Revlon coupon. But there's acatch: these coupons expire in 24 HOURS. Meaning you only have ONE day to use them.
I obviously cannot guarantee that you're going to get either of these two coupons (I have no idea if CVS will assign different coupons to different members based on spending habits, etc.) BUT, if you do get either of these (or both, like Aloix) then now you have some time to plan your purchases. Again, the expiration on Aloix's coupons were 24 hours after they were printed, so please keep that in mind.

Yup, scanned my card today and got the $5 off Revlon/Maybelline, but not the other one. On an unrelated note, I finally tracked down Sinful Open Seas! I may have driven to 10+ Rite Aids just to find it...erghh

ReplyDeleteI hadn't been to my CVS in awhile. I scanned my card twice. The first scan got me a $5 off $25 coupon, $5 off a $20 Revlon or Maybelline coupon, and a $5 off facial skin care purchase of $20 or more. The second scan got me .50 off 2 Dove large bars 3 oz. or more and .50 off a bottle of Big Chill Purified Water, 20 oz. I got two Revlon Just Bitten lipstains, 2 Revlon polishes, and a Milani color streaks thing for my hair for a total of $23.22.

I was so excited about the mystery coupon, I went to scan my card last night. I've got three coupons: $5 off $20 facial care, $5 off $20 Maybelline or Revlon, and $5 off any Beauty 360, Prestige cosmetics purchase. I went back today to get some Maybelline products that I have been wanting. Out of curiosity, I scanned my card again. I've got a $5 off Revlon Colorstay Ultimate or Overtime Lip Color Coupon!!! I was so excited!!! The coupon expires on 8/1/2011.

I too got the coupon $5 off any Beauty 360, Prestige cosmetics purchase. What does that mean? is it off only a certain brand of cosmetics?
ReplyDeleteMerced, Beauty 360 is the CVS high end cosmetics website. Although Prestige isn't really a high end brand! I think that means you have to use it to buy online, which kind of makes sense, because I don't think most CVS's carry Prestige in store. I get that brand at Rite Aid. G has lots of reviews of Prestige products so you might want to check those out if you intend to use the coupon. I know that there is a 24/7 eyeliner dupe that she loves, and I love their mascaras, they are my HG!
ReplyDeleteI had $10 in extra bucks, the $5 coupon, a couple of the $1 off coupons from the Bright Side display, and of course both Revlon and Maybelline are BOGO50 this week. I also got a coupon for $1 off Irish Spring deodorant, which is my husband's fave. So I bought two Maybelline Lasting Drama gel eyeliners, which would have put me over the $20 for the coupon, but I wasn't sure if that counts before or after the BOGO50, so I grabbed a Falsies mascara too. I also got my husband's deodorant. My total after sales, coupons, and extra bucks was $8 and a bit of change. SCORE!
ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity I just went to the Beauty 360 website, and they don't sell Prestige, the brand. So I think the coupon means any of their high end brands, your choice. The meaning of the word "prestige" does mean high end, D'oh!
ReplyDeleteThanks Donna, I've gotten one of those prestige coupons before the cashier looked puzzled and just scanned it and it took off the 5.00 off. Every cashier is different, thought i'd ask here so I could let the cashier know if they gave me a any trouble. Yes! Love prestige I've tried the mascara called my biggest lashes. next to get is the blackest lashes. I also have the eyeliner on my list to get total intensity eyeliner (if that's the name of it) My cvs doesn't carry that brand anymore and rite aid never has it in stock. My stop is ulta. Gonna make a cvs run soon got a $4 off revlon mascara + mystery coupon.
