For Father's Day, we usually spend the day enjoying some time with each other. I like to include my parents in whatever I, my son and husband do, since I am an only child. We might go out to dinner, or spend a nice night in watching TV. It's nothing fancy, but special just the same.

BTW, my dad used Canoe all the time when I was little. That smell is one of my favorites!

  23. 1. I treat them by giving them a card, and generally a handpicked gift. The value of the gift is irrelevant it's the fact that the gift was thoughtfully purchased.

This time, I'll be cooking my homemade chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes for my stand-in Dad.

  24. I treat my husband by going fishing with him. I admit that I am not a fishing fan but on this day I go with him and even bait my own hook. I know I am such a bad fisherwoman that the fish have a fighting chance when I am around.

  26. Liked Canoe on Facebook. Funny thing is, I like to wear it sometimes! I tend to give my special guys really "manly" presents. Swords, whiskey, cigars, wallets, colognes. A big family dinner at our favorite place with all the spouses, kids, in-laws. And someone else to clean up!

  29. I honor the men in my life by going fly fishing with them every father's day. The whole family meets at a state park, gets a cabin, and we fish for trout for 5 days. It's been a tradition for years and I've come to enjoy it!

I liked Canoe on Facebook too. My email is sgickler@gmail.com

  30. Thanks for this giveaway :) I would normally take my dad out to lunch and just spend the day with him since I never see them because of my work schedule. I would choose the Navy option for him...I also liked the Canoe FB page (Kourtney Swanson)....
