ReplyDeleteFor Father's Day, we usually spend the day enjoying some time with each other. I like to include my parents in whatever I, my son and husband do, since I am an only child. We might go out to dinner, or spend a nice night in watching TV. It's nothing fancy, but special just the same.
BTW, my dad used Canoe all the time when I was little. That smell is one of my favorites!

I treat my husband by going fishing with him. I admit that I am not a fishing fan but on this day I go with him and even bait my own hook. I know I am such a bad fisherwoman that the fish have a fighting chance when I am around.

ReplyDeleteLiked Canoe on Facebook. Funny thing is, I like to wear it sometimes! I tend to give my special guys really "manly" presents. Swords, whiskey, cigars, wallets, colognes. A big family dinner at our favorite place with all the spouses, kids, in-laws. And someone else to clean up!

ReplyDeleteI honor the men in my life by going fly fishing with them every father's day. The whole family meets at a state park, gets a cabin, and we fish for trout for 5 days. It's been a tradition for years and I've come to enjoy it!
