Anyway, here's this week's question--I hope to hear from you in the comments!
On a typical day, how much time does it take you to do your makeup, from beginning to end?
On a regular weekday (ie: no special products or fancy looks) it takes me about 20 minutes from the time I apply my moisturizer (first step) to the time I apply my lip color (last step). How about you?
On A regular day, 40 mins..? Somewhere around there.
ReplyDeleteGet Me on a "Fancy DAy" your looking at A Lot Longer. haha
I usually just slap on some mascara and blusher and I'm done. Let's say 10 minutes...
ReplyDeleteI'm a simple gal...probably 20 min on a big day and 10 on the regular day to day. I love makeup though and if given a lot of time I could do a full hour. I have all the tools! New Years and Halloween I break it all out.
ReplyDeleteIt takes me about 20-25 minutes! Unfortunately even longer when I get a little fancy! I really wish I could master a 5 minute look!
ReplyDeleteIf I get up late for my 8am clss, I can do 10/15 minutes. For a normal day, about 40 minutes. If I'm really in a rush, I can do less and do it fast but I like to do more :)
ReplyDeleteWell, geez. I had no idea it took everyone this long. It takes me 6 minutes for my basic everyday look. I guess it's really basic, comparatively....
ReplyDeleteIt takes me about 15-20 minutes, sometimes faster if I'm in a rush.
ReplyDeleteOn a typical day probably 5-10 minutes depending on how much I'm doing. I usually just do concealer, powder, mascara. Somedays I do eyeliner.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm really trying to "glam it up" it might take me like 30 mins 'cos I don't have all my makeup in one place, I basically run around the room getting stuff lol
I'm a little shocked it takes some people so long. An everyday look for me which includes concealer, foundation, blush, eyeliner, eyeshadow and mascara takes me maybe 10 minutes. I'll do about 15-20 for a really nice occasion.
ReplyDeleteFor work, 15 minutes. If I'm going out, it could run up to an hour!
ReplyDeletei'd say on a regular day 15-20..if i'm taking my time and going out then probably 30 =]
ReplyDeletei have an hour and a half commute to work, so five to seven minutes tops.
ReplyDeleteif i'm going out or its some kinda special day....maybe 20.
i know i have the make up application skills of a three year old, but i can't even imagine what i would do to take an hour.
I'd say it takes me 10-20 minutes depending on the look I'm going for. If its a casual day definitely only takes me 10 minutes. If I'm doing something more special 15-20 minutes.
ReplyDeleteUsually about 15-20 mins for my everyday natural look. If I have nothing to do, I take my time and enjoy the makeup application process like one would with a favorite hobby. This would take 30-45 mins.
ReplyDeleteI take at least 40 minutes. I can go with just 10 if I have to do a super quickie. But, I have the leisure to not be confided to a time frame, most of the time. And I rather enjoy taking my time and playing with my look.
ReplyDeleteHey, I need more work than the ladies here! ;)
For makeup only i would say 15 minutes and only because i tend to be a bit of a slow poke. Hair is a whole different ballgame!
ReplyDeleteI could never count my skin care as part of my makeup routine because it takes sooo long and I have to wait for each step to dry down before moving to the next step. My routine after my shower is toner, bha, benzoyl peroxide on spots, lastly moisturizer with sunscreen. That's at least 10 minutes there. If we're talking only makeup, 15 minutes for a 3 eyeshadow eye design with primer, cat liner with liquid liner, mascara, face concealer, under eye concealer, foundation, powder, blush, then I'm done. For going out I like to use more brushes, contour, and gel liner, so it takes much longer.
ReplyDeletewe recently moved, and i have not yet set up my vanity and organized my hair and makeup stuff, so i have to go get my traincase and brushes each morning and park myself on the floor in front of the full length mirror to get enough (and natural) light. it's annoying. anyways, about 15-20 min on a work day and at least an hour if i'm going out to an event because i like to get out the darker shades, different brushes, glitter, etc.
ReplyDeletehair is, regrettably, complicated and time-consuming.
I'd say for a really basic look, 20 minutes. Most days, I take longer at the vanity, because I enjoy putting on makeup & if I don't have somewhere to be, I take my good sweet time. :)
ReplyDeleteIf I am having a decent face day, less than 30 minutes.
ReplyDeleteHow can i order, looked for this brand in stores for years. I love it!
