Back in October of last year I posted about how Dell was working with OPI to bring us notebooks that are the color of our favorite OPI nail polish shades (click here for that post). And now we've got even more exciting news for prospective notebook buyers, as Dell is taking some of the shades from OPI's wildy popular Hong Kong Collection (check out Amber from BeautyJunkiesUnite's great swatches here) and making them available for notebooks. From happi.com:
If you click on the link above, you can see all the available shades (there are TON of shades available in addition to the Hong Kong Collection). But there is no doubt in my mind that, if I were to purchase a Dell Notebook, it would be in the shade of Jade is the new Black (with You Don't Know Jacques coming in a second and Kyoto Pearl in third).Timed with the release of the new Spring/Summer 2010 Hong Kong Collection by OPI, the Dell Design Studio will now include six of the Collection’s most avant-garde shades, according to the company.
Building off the exclusive partnership that originally launched November 2009, the Dell Design Studio will replace the initial Holiday Collection selections with the new Hong Kong Collection options.Joining 20 additional classic OPI colors in the permanent collection of color choices for Mini, Inspiron and Studio laptops; the Hong Kong Collection features an eclectic mix of stand-alone, signature shades. Deep orange, sophisticated dark green, and China’s traditional good-luck shade of red provide springtime sizzle while rich berry, shimmery purple and serene blue present a cool contrast.
The Hong Kong Collection color options are available now for $85 per device. All customizable colors for Dell Mini, Inspiron and Studio laptops are available at www.dell.com/DesignStudio. The newest additions will be retailed first in the U.S. and later in other countries. Select OPI colors will also be available at select Dell retailers nationwide.
What shade would you pick if you were going to purchase a Dell Notebook? If any of you have a notebook in an OPI shade, please leave a comment because I would LOVE to know what you think of it!
Sadly, when I get a laptop for college, I really want a Dell just for the OPI colors... I really don't care about a microprocessor or whatever. I don't know anything about computers except that I want mine to be cute!
ReplyDeleteHeather: LOL!! I have to admit, cuteness would definitely be a factor for me too, if I was to purchase a notebook. :D
