Now through 2/25: Beauty Brands Friends & Family Event (Details, Tips & Ideas)

The Beauty Brands Friends and Family event is live! Now through 2/25, receive between 25-30% off regularly-priced items in-store and online (use code EC13906 at checkout), plus free shipping on orders $50+ and 3 free mystery samples with all orders. Exclusions: sale items, clearance items, gift cards, salon services, Moroccanoil, L'Occitane, Darphin, and Beautyblender.

HOT TIP: this sale includes Pureology, which is 30% off with the above code. I know that several of you are always looking for good deals on Pureology, so I wanted to make sure you knew about this. Most sales at other retailers are usually 20% off, so this is a nice time to get a deeper discount.

IDEAS:

In addition to 30% off Pureology that I mentioned above, here are a few other tips in case you're looking for some ideas and you're not already familiar with the Beauty Brands site:
  • 30% off OPI, Essie, Redken (includes my favorite Miracle Creator), and Neuma. I'm a new fan of Neuma haircare but I have loved all of the products I've tried so far (the reNeu Condition smells like buttermint and works very well with my fine, oily hair). If you're interested in this brand (which you cannot find at some other retailers), I want to be sure you know that the 30% off also applies to travel sizes. I plan to pick up the travel-size reNue Tangle Me Free since I've heard great things about it; the 30% off discount code brings it down from $8.99 to $6.29.

I hope this post helps a bit when it comes to navigating this sale and, as always, if you place an order I would love to know what you purchased. If you have any tips or ideas not mentioned in this post, please do share with us below!

    1. Hi Leslie! You're so welcome. I've ordered from them more times than I can count, and never an issue. :)

Thanks for mentioning Devacurl! I tried a sample of one of their styling products recently and really liked it. *adds to shopping cart*

    1. Yay! I'm so glad you were able to jump on that Pureology deal! And you're so welcome--I'd love to know what you think of your experience with BB once you get your package. :)

  3. Will that code work for in store purchase? Or do they want an actual coupon?

    1. Yes, it should work in-store as well. Or you can always just show them the homepage of the BB site on your phone, if they don't automatically give you the discount. :)

  4. I don't think this applies to Too Faced products as it didn't discount the Better than Sex mascara I had in my cart.
I was able to snag a great deal on the FHI thermal styling brush I've been lemming for awhile as well as my favorite AG conditioner.

  5. Ooops, I just placed an order on Peter Thomas Roth website a couple hours ago :( I'll try to cancel it and order from Beauty Brands instead because I'd be saving almost $15!

  6. Thanks G, I clicked through one of your links. Hope that helps you out :).

I got the new Laura Geller Cover foundation, looks like its really full coverage. I hope the light shade I got isn't too dark.

    Also got Redken:

Heat Design 09 blow out lotion. I really love redken products to help control my really frizzy curly hair. They make my hair look nice after a blowout. I'm hoping I like this one.

Redken Rebel Tame - I've used a travel size before. It was awesome. I'm getting ready to cut my hair shorter again, this was so good when I cut it the first time to make it look good when I blow out.

Redken Curvaceous Ringlet for Curly Hair - I've been wanting to try their curl line. At 30 % off couldn't resist.
